  1. An 07 MKX Has: Adaptive Headlamps, Optimized Navigation/THX head unit. Real Wood Inserted interior. Cool-White LED interior lighting, Heated/cooled 10-way power seats, 14 speakers, bumpers are different, dash is different, suspension is tuned for a smoother ride, center console is different. Memory system is different, Outside drivers rear-view mirror is auto-dimming, Power lift rear hatch, Wheels are different. Subjective question is it worth it, Warranty is longer, you are paying for a name, Resale is higher. Seeing fewer MKX's on the road vs. Edge's is nice. Money. I just glanced into an Edge when I purchased. If I look into one now, I personally am glad I have a Lincoln. I'd make the same decision again. Mine sits and gets maybe 50 miles a week on it. Their is No difference in the headlight's, they are shipped with the same bulbs. Is their something wrong with reaching back in history for design cue's? A Grill from a '63 Continental, Gauges from one also, Rear LED lighting from a Mark VIII.
  2. Due to your lack of knowledge, you better prepare yourself for , what to you may be the biggest letdown in History. It's NOT retrofit-able to an '07. Steering Wheel, Steering Column, Wiring Harness, Microphone, Radio, come to mind. But you can have anything if you have enough money.
  3. It was way back in the 60's that Jed Clampett was credited with the first utility crossover.

  6. People who have money, don't talk about it. LOL
  7. take a guess from this: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?sho...entry7159 Tell me for what reason these were inserted in that thread? LOL
  8. Oh man, I feel for you. Don't even think about accepting that paint job like it is. You deserve more than that. Get out your owners manual and start calling corporate and tell them what has happened and that you actually want a factory rep. to take a look at what the dealership has left you with. Drop it at the dealership and demand a loaner and say you will be back, when a factory rep comes to look at it. Stand your ground man. it's not Ford who messed you over here, but that dealership.
  9. I was waiting for you to remind us of this. I guess you forgot it in your first reply.
  10. WOW! Look what you Wrote! on another site. #33 of 72 Re: Good deal or no deal for a MKX lease [ridge2] by bromano May 23, 2007 (1:35 pm) Bookmark | Reply Replying to: ridge2 (May 23, 2007 8:57 am)Dear Ridge2. We're in the process of buying much the same car in a dif color. Offer we got was $38,000 at 1.5%, too. We haven't talked payments yet. The dealer here (Drivers' village), has not mentioned the incentives and rebates you noted in your message....so that's good to hear about. I'll have to ask! Thanks.
  11. Oh that's right, you migrated from blueoval to here..
  12. WOW! I am PISSED! I recently bought an MKX also, and had never noticed this til you mentioned it. To other purchasers: Check yours and report back...this is MESSED UP! Man, am I MAD! Since you posted the same thing on another site, you just have one more to go, to warn everyone else in the world.
  13. Someone please insert the LOST photo on here for 'our little friend: bromano' It's like he just awoke from a coma.
  14. Have you done a side-by-side comparison with an MKX? You should, because both the Edge and MKX are shipped from the factory with the same exact bulbs. The MKX does not have HID.
  15. Something happened to my viewing pleasure about a week ago or so, also. I corrected it by going to the top of the page and clicking on OPTIONS, and selecting Standard. But I will also say the Font changed just 2-3 days ago also. And I didn't like that.. I'm a creature of habit, I like to move into a rut and furnish it.
  16. Wait til you have to change plugs in the rear bank. That means the intake manifold has to come off, to get access to the plugs.
  17. Twice now, after washing outdoors at home, I just clean them - with the final wash solution. Course I have hard water and when I get to drying the wheels, their already dry and water spotted. I use a detailing clay to remove the spots, and they shine up brilliantly.
  18. Turtle Wax, it's just not your fathers wax anymore. Speaking of the ICE, Turtle Wax web site has a great deal for that only online. I used the Jeff's Werkstatt Acrylic Jett: Trigger for a sealant this time, - probably used about 1 oz. for the whole vehicle. A True wipe on, walk away sealant. Pleased, very pleased, Will probably go into greater detail on it later. And used Aerospace 303 for the black trim around the truck. I tend for the higher end products, I seem to get a bigger bang for the bucks. Thanks for the tip on the ICE for the trim, my trunk is loaded with all those ICE products, but have yet to use them. IF you want 1 product to greatly improve your exterior appearance, I would get a detailing clay. Perhaps about $20 But well worth it. A good place to get products online Detail King.
  19. BA linkkkkkkkkkk a'Group' buy. The Fordedgeforum group discount. It.......... could.......... work. :kuko: or :cheerleader:
  20. I'm not sure if seeing a lot of after-market 'Billet' Grills on trucks turns me on either, I understand everyone wants their vehicle to be different from the herd. My I make a suggestion? no? OK  The Ford 500 AKA new Taurus, has what looks like a Stainless Steel Mesh grill behind the blue oval, I like that. I'm not even sure what year it was, BUT I did like that mesh. I wonder what it would look like on the Edge?
  21. Thank you Senior, Anyway you can look at the bottle and report back as to exactly what it is? I've had no luck googleing for it, "The wax shop" doesn't seem to be a manufacturer. A lot of places are using that name for an assortment of detailing products. Same luck with Bumper Black. Was this a dressing or something to actually remove it? I know the wax I used was mothers cleaner wax, pink and good smell.
