The Mandatory In-Car Breathalyzer Is Only a Few Years Away
akirby replied to macbwt's topic in Multimedia
The problem is drunk drivers rarely kill only themselves. They usually kill innocent people. There really isn’t any other way to prevent it. -
I’ve never gotten more than 30k out of low profile OEM tires.

Nautilus will be available as a hybrid. Might be worth a look.

EV explorer and aviator are on the way but may not be the kind of vehicle you want.

GM was #1 in sales when they went bankrupt, sales do t always equal profits. And they are finally addressing quality srptarting with the big sellers and worst offenders.

bad idea

We bought a 22 Nautilus due to the uncertainty and plan to keep it at least 10 years.

Did it suck for Ford when they replaced fusion, mkz and focus with Maverick, Bronco sport, Bronco and Ranger? No because they’re still #1 in sales or close to it and those products have much bigger profit margins. Will they lose customers? Of course. Will BEVs bring new customers? Of course. We’ll have to wait and see how the new BEV utilities play out. They could always bring back a new C2 edge (but not the Chinese version exactly) if market demands it.
-
Edge and Fusion never had big profit margins so when those resources are needed for other vehicles like Maverick and Bronco Sport or BEVs they drop them. Sucks for buyers but better for the company in the long run.

95% it’s the battery especially if it’s more than 3 years old. Make sure they test CCAs and not just voltage. I can’t remember a starter or solenoid going bad on any Ford vehicles in the last 20 years. Very rare.

What have you done to/with your Edge/MKX today?
akirby replied to WWWPerfA_ZN0W's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Hired 2 21 yr old guys to move the bags from the driveway to the beds (avg about 40 ft) with a wheelbarrow. Took them about 2 hours (I helped some). But I dumped them out and spread with a rake (wife helped a little). It was a good workout but I don’t want to ever do it again. -

Me too but mine weighed about 13000 lbs (4 pallets delivered plus 24 bags I hauled in my F150). Last time I ever do mulch. LOL -

What type of paint to use for interior plastic?
akirby replied to gibbey531's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim
You just need to use a special plastic primer - forgot the name exactly. Paintscratch.com has details and paint and prep kits. -

Ford to import 2024 Lincoln Nautilus SUVs from Hangzhou, China

That was gone regardless. C2 only supports 1.5 I3 and 2.0/2.3 I4. -
IF the wiring for the paddles is already there it most likely will work but no guarantee. This worked on the first selectshift equipped vehicle - the 2000 Lincoln LS.

I think they changed to the new PTU for 2020 that disconnects completely so the added cooling may not be needed.

If you mean the fuel pump it’s in the tank.
-
If you can’t find any leaks I would suspect a bad fuel injector.
