And now you know it's the vehicle. Just basic troubleshooting.

I don't blame Ford for the steps they're trying to take to fix the problem, but it is getting more than a little disconcerting that they're having these types of issues more and more the last few years. Ford just reported record profit for 2Q - $2.9B. It's time to spend some of that on better engineering and quality control.

But you got your point and information across the first 2 times you posted it. 3 is overkill. Just don't post it again unless you have new information.

Should, yes. But phones go bad all the time and it could be either a bluetooth hardware problem or a setting on the phone itself. Testing it with another phone would confirm whether it's sync or the phone and you can troubleshoot from there. Right now you don't know either way.

Ok - 3 times is enough. Please don't keep posting the same thing over and over.

There must be a duct somewhere to exhaust the heat - under the seat somewhere. Lack of air coming out of that duct would confirm that the duct came loose inside the seat.

It happens. I think I've seen it here before with a brake booster.

Try a different phone.

Broken motor mount? -
I was talking about the rust around the pad sweep area. If there was rust where the pad normally sweeps then it's a bad caliper.

Road salt?

Always always always check the owner's manual for this type of info.

My friend the former FoMoCo transmission engineer says if there is enough junk to clog the filter the tranny is already toast.

If you're comparing MSRP to MSRP then you shouldn't factor in any incentives. Normally you go msrp to msrp or retail to retail, not msrp to retail.- 480 replies

I thought that was normal. our 2008 did it.

There is a difference between a flush and just swapping the fluid using the cooler lines.

BECAUSE it was related to a foot positioning issue.

You don't have to buy a new one ever, but they're available every 1-2 years for around $120.

Does the 2015 have more options than the 2011? Larger wheels?

Do you know if they registered it in OASIS? Did they give you paperwork or was it just word of mouth? It's possible they'll cover it - depends on what the dealer tells them. Send a PM to FordService and get them to help. -
Does it only happen after using them for a long period (30 minutes or longer)? If they don't have a permanent fix yet then the only options are a - sell the vehicles and repair them later b - hold the vehicles at the factory until they're fixed c - Remove that feature temporarily B and C would piss off way more people than A. It's really disappointing to see Ford continung to have these problems. I think they need to slow down and get more focus on engineering and/or vendor management.

Pedals. Left foot braking isn't terrible as long as you don't rest it on the brake pedal.
-
Move your heel closer to the pedal.

Well Duh.....You could say that about anything you buy from a $4 spatula to a $4K HDTV to a $40K vehicle.
