I would try just really hot water and a wet vac of some kind. If there is still a stain just use a good carpet cleaner.

I don't know why they aren't replaceable but the reason they switched to plastic is because it's much lighter than a steel chromed wheel and it won't pit over time like real chrome. I'm sure someone will figure out how to replace/repair them since Ford is not the only mfr going this route. Until then it sucks.

I don't think Z plan is valid for friends. X plan maybe. And you can't generate the PIN - he has to log in with his login to prove he's a retired employee.

I don't remember - did you try pulling the negative battery cable to reset all of the MFT/sync systems or have you only been pulling fuse 29?

If it's really just another month and all the major problems are fixed then I think it will be fine. OTOH if it gets delayed much longer and/or they don't really get all the problems fixed then it will be an even bigger fiasco than it already is - especially considering it will affect the 2013 models as well as the current ones.

You can get used CDs/DVDs on ebay (or illegal copies). This seems to be the norm for in-car navigation map upgrades for all mfrs.

Which proves the original dealer screwed up. Ford only goes by what the dealers tell them. If the original dealer had presented it as a failed PCM per the TSB then it would have been covered.
