Do both files need to be put on the USB drive or just the top one? Sorry if its a stupid question

I got my Edge in October of 2010. I hope to be one of the first to receive the software. It's already over a year and a half of putting up with this

Hello Chief. I had a 2007 AWD and had the PTU seal go bad numerous times. I now have an 11 with no PTU issues. I almost guarantee that's it. FYI ~ I'm a CFD FF in NY on Long Island

I think it fair that MFT be compared to other automaker systems. What do they use that's different or are they very similar? Cadillac and Chrysler have some very nice systems out or coming out but I haven't heard how well they actually preform

It was said the 13's will have the updated version. I doubt that will change. I also feel confident by April 15th we will be enjoying the new version

CNet just had a very good review of the ecoboost. (check out the video) All positive but said to wait till the MyFord Touch was updated. I disagree with that as you will be sent the upgrade when available

Correct. It will a be the same. Only the software needs to be upgraded

The 2012 may not be equipped at time of sale but would get the software update when it comes out. Talking about the latest gen MyFord Touch software

Received a phone call a month or so ago from Ford. The woman was asking me how I liked the MFT and apologized about the performance issues. She assured me they were coming out with a new system and mentioned the USB stick as well as the new SD card for the Nav. being shipped out early next year. I tried getting particulars from her but she didn't know such things as the name of the software taking over the nav (although she did say it was totally new and quite better) or exactly when I could expect the software delivered

I received my Limited extended warranty today. Gives me oil,filter and tire rotations. I have a lease so really won't get to make full use out of it -Warranty.pdf
