  1. On my 11 Edge the camera itself was bad.(yes the image was working most of the times but the lines would never come on) Had a TSB on early 11 models
  2. Just to update I was going to walk away if dealer didn't absorb my 3 remaining payments so they caved in and honored it

Hello The salesmen tell me the lease incentives are great now for the 2013 Edge I went and actually put a down payment today on one A 13 Limited AWD with 301A package plus 20" wheels and rubber mats. 3250 out of pocket with 419 month at 36 months Doing the right thing? Think the 14's in October will have less incentives? Also I have 3 payments left on my 11 edge which they say they will waive BUT just got a call that being my June payment is due on the 27th they wouldn't be able to waive that one :-( Any feedback would be appreciated, doing final paperwork tomorrow Thanks

The Ford F-150 with MyFord Touch has the highest rate of quality satisfaction across the Ford lineup, at 86 percent. F-150 blends touch screen capability with traditional buttons and knobs, a similar balance planned for future Ford vehicles. Young buyer connections The innovations also are attracting younger buyers. For example, the new 2014 Ford Fiesta will now offer MyFord Touch, adding to other features such as a navigation system, rear camera, leather seats and a sunroof not available in the segment. Fiesta already is drawing a younger audience of 46 percent Gen Y and Gen X buyers, compared to Toyota and Scion's 36 percent subcompact average. Fiesta innovations are differentiating the car as SYNC is cited as an important purchase reason by 54 percent of buyers compared to a 37 percent average for Toyota's connectivity technology. Previous upgrades already have helped improve quality responses by more than 50 percent.   5. Yes I had seen that. Needs to be taken with a grain of salt however. While doing a Google search there are times when searching for the 2014 model the search results will come up with older models that simply have the year changed to 2014. This gets you to visit their site

  7. Jim I totally agree with you. Something doesn't add up. Only possible reason I can think of is maybe the 2015 will be a late release and by delaying the 14 model they can lessen that gap. If that makes any sense My 11 lease is up in September and will likely get the 14 if the numbers work out

  10. Hello all I have a 2011 Edge Limited. The backup camera lost it's warning markers (the lines plus the shaded in area). I did a master reset but no luck. Does anyone haver a fix for this without going back to the dealer? I do have the latest software and it worked for quite a while with that software. Also today while backing the camera screen went upside down, very strange. And I had times when the camera didn't come on at all Any help is much appreciated Thanks Ps. I checked all the appropriate camera settings

  12. I have a 2011 Edge and my guidelines and visual aid lines are gone. I tried turning them back on but they go right back to off when leaving the settings menu. I also did a Master Reset but didn't help any. Anyone have any suggestions? The camera with the extra's have been working just fine after the latest 3.5.1 update I believe for quite some time Thanks much, Happy Motoring

  14. I have an iPhone 5 and indeed got messaging to work on my 2011 Edge This is from the Ford Sync website. Follow reply's # 39 and 50 under Topic: iPhone doesn't sync with text messages!If you do not see "Show Notifications" under your Sync options on the phone try this: 1) Delete your phone from the car. Delete Sync from your phone. Wait a minute to make sure everything clears. 2) Turn the phone off and on again. You don't need to reboot the phone but make sure it is physically off and then on (not just lock and unlock). Turn the car off and then on again. 3) Pair your phone fresh w/MFT. Let it do its thing (phonebook loading, voicemail #, 911 assist, etc.). 4) On your phone, turn BT off. Turn it on again. 5) Hit "connect" on the MFT screen to reconnect BT. 6) Go into the settings screen for Sync. You should now see "Show Notifications". 7) Set Notifications to "On". 8) Back up a screen on the phone and turn BT off again. Turn it back on. 9) Hit "connect" on the MFT screen again to reconnect to BT. Have someone send a test message.
  15. I bought my 11 Edge from Ramp in Port Jeff. Been going there for years and can tell you they have an excellent service department. They have always done the right thing by me. Good luck with your new ride
  16. I just picked up my '11 Edge for the 5th time to have my disappearing Sirius stations fixed. Every time I'm told the next software update will cure it. This time around they said they would replace the APIM but I see on the paperwork it says reprogrammed Guess what? It didn't work It's going back yet again. At least they always give me a loaner

  18. What carrier do you have? I also have an iPhone (5) but did try a Samsung Galaxy S3. On the Samsung I didn't get texts but did have the option to send a text from the list. When I did try sending that too didn't work Oh and thanks Kirby for the reply

  20. Yes thanks but has anyone sat in the car while in access mode? I think it should be the darkened screen but both go bright to blank screens

  22. Hello Kirby What is or does this new update address? And you say we will get yet another SD card? I am waiting for an available loaner car, should be next week, to have my MFT worked on yet again. I am waiting for this golden update that will finally fix everything. Not sure that will ever happen
