I just downloaded Apple IOS 9.2.1 beta update. Tthis does resolve the Siri eyes not working. I installed the public beta but it should be available to everyone shortly

Unfortunately this is part of why they totally redesigned the system with Sync 3.

Akirby Very possible Ford gets the data for next to nothing. The customer than becomes the paying customer once the " free " term is up. Good for Ford and good for whoever provides the data

Sync has always been free for first 3 years. Then I'm told the 15 model year went to 1 year I believe. If what I read is true, they expect the 17 model Edge in July. If that's the case I only need to wait a couple of months because my lease is up in June. Works out!

If nothing else, confirmation that the vehicle started is a great feature

Yes, but the 17's it will be standard equipment. Like most other car manufacturers. So I was hoping maybe it would be part of the Car Play update that 16's would get. May need to extend my lease 6 months

It states the 17 will get LTE for remote starting and such ( from phone ). Will the 16's get that update?

I appreciate the response. I was a Charter member of MyFord Touch with my second a Edge which was a 2011, leased in August or September 2010. I don't have to tell you how far it's come. Thinking about the 2016 Edge in May but first need to see Sync 3 in action plus see if Ford will add Apple Car Play I'm expecting a huge improvement

Yes I have 9.2 like most people. Ford should have an update already. Very annoying to get Siri to work now plus it stays on Bluetooth and has to be manually changed back to Sirius or FM Please Ford give us an idea when this will be resolved

Same thing here. Started out working great than went downhill. I did a master reset as well but didn't help. Let me know if battery disconnect helps. When I did the master reset all of my preset radio stations were still there, just had to repair phone and change door unlock options back to all doors

And I did a Master reset yesterday

Mine was working great. Now however when using the steering wheel button for Siri it seems I have to almost yell. Additionally after Siri it doesn't go back to the FM Or XM station. Stays on Bluetooth for phone

Did you check to see if you have a camera installed on the tailgate? If you have MFT and it has nav I'm pretty sure you should have a backup camera. What trim level do you have?

once the head of the flat screwdriver is in position simply twist the screwdriver as if you are screwing or unscrewing a screw. a little turn of the screwdriver should be enough to pull mirror glass from platform. May need to do 2 or 3 different points to pop out correctly Hope this helps

You're being more optimistic then me Kirby. There was a 3.7 update that was quickly taken down and then told it was only for new 2015 models in dealer inventory We shall see

I'm guessing you have 3.6 installed. Not looking like Ford will be doing further updates at this point. It's been over a year since the last update

If you haven't done so restart your car, open drivers door and then restart. Sometimes disconnecting the battery for a few minutes help to reset things. Otherwise a trip to the dealer
