Just wondering if anybody can tell me exactally what this wire harness is used for? I'm guessing it's for the heated seats button for a higher model other than mine, I have a 2011 SEL model. here is 4 pic's to show you what I'm talking about. Hopefully I'm right I came to find this harness buy accident when I was uninstalling a Cache CE06 line driver that was installed by my local stereo shop. FYI the panel I'm talking about is beside the steering colum on the left hand side.

As of right now I have 2 sets of Audison Voce AV K6 installed with none of the tweeters that came with it. Instead I have installed a pair of Hertz ML280 tweeters installed in the "A" pillars. I have 2 Zapco amps, the first being a Reference 500.1 & the other being a Reference 360.4. I also have a bit one installed that cleaned up the sound pretty good considering I have yet to tune the bitone. I also have a pair of Hertz ML700 3inch midrange speakers that I will be putting in the dash as well as installing another Zapco reference 500.1 for the sub to give me a total of 1000 watts for the JL Stealthbox.

I have one installed in my 2011 sel model & I must say it sounds very good but will sound even better once I get my Audison bitone tuned

I have the exact same problem & I have a 2011 sel. It sounds like the fan blade is hitting something & the only thing that makes it go away is the radio or if I turn it to almost max, very frustrating indeed

Yes Sync does support WAV Lossless. What I have going on in my truck is an external 500gb hard drive with all my ripped music on it. I don't know if that could help you out in any matter ie. declutter your devices but the hard drive sure does fit allot of music in Wav format on it, plus when I rip my music using windows media player I get the album art encoded with the file, just an option I like

Just wondering If anybody can point me in the right direction on getting a diagram for removing the dashboard on my edge. I need this diagram for my audio guy so we can install a set of speakers in the dash & we also need to find out if I need to buy any clips because some clips are only made to be pulled out once ( I forgot what type of clips these are called ). Also does anybody have a aerial shot of the dash exposed? Thank you in advance

I have, I too bought mine from Canadian Tire about a month ago & had to struggle with it to get it to fit.

Dingo I got an answer to the problem Id pm'd you about earlier & he told me I need to get the Audison Bit One, it's on order & I'll leave feed back later. cwatkins, if money is not an issue then you should look into the unit I'm about to get installed, the unit itself sell for around $800 but then you need to add another $150-200 for tuning the system.

The stock speakers are a simple swap out but keep in mind that they are 5x7's & remember that they are not coaxial speakers which means they only have a woofer in them, they look like coaxials with a paper cone that comes out & up in the middle of the speaker. Any model above the SEL will have tweaters in the front pillars & since you have the SEL like I do you do not have the factory option to swap out the tweaters unless you cut out a hole in the pillar or buy them from the dealer for $150 cdn each plus tax. So you can do what I did & that was to buy some coaxals speakers. As for crossovers, the factory systems have none, but if you buy some speakers & they come with them, then you should install them. They really clean up the sound comming out of the speakers. Remember for every speaker you should have a crossover for it. Hope this helps

I have a question that I hope someone can answer. I just recently had my car audio guy install my entire system which consists of a jl audio stealth box sub, 2 pairs of jl audio C-570x, 1 zapco ref amp 360.4 , 1 zapco ref amp 500.1 & 1 Kinetik KHC800 Power Cell, & a Cache coe6 Line Out Converter. The problem that I am having is that for some strange reason the front speakers sound very distorted when I turn the volume up 3/4 & higher. My car audio guy thinks it's the deck or the LOC, he thinks the deck & the LOC are not communication on the same DSP or frequency. Anybody have any ideas? Also forgot to mention that my Zapco amps are all running symbilink cables ( that came with the amp's) & not RCA's.I have all my pin's in my Symbilink drivers set at 0db & all the gains on the LOC turned all the way down & on the LOC all the jumper pins set to Direct. All all bummed out after spending an arm & a leg for this stuff, help . Also took 2 pic's of the back of the deck & the bottom of the deck (2011 SEL model) in case anyone is interested, who new that FORD would use Clarion for their decks, not me that's for sure. I believe Richy it see's your area via gps location & teel you based on that. Also someone mentioned above about the construction I too noticed that a few months back I got allot of yellow & black signs on my map.

I get the odd weather update as well as some sports info. When I get the weather info though it reads buffalo/Niagra region, but I'm @400 & steels area lol. Also I just renewed my subscription & the lady there told my that they are waiting to get there feed off of the X FM satellite seing as they just merged a few months back.

You guys must be nuts to want to add a factory sub woofer. Like someone mentioned above get the JL Stealthbox, you already spent $40k plus what's another $1K with a good amp, give your heads a shake guys. I myself have the Jl Stealth box installed & it sounds amazing, sounds almost as good as my 2 10" inch alpine R's.If your gonna mention money being a factor then wait till' you have it.

Hey Fusionking I just ordered a set from them as well & I was wondering if your day time lights worked as well, seeing as it is the law over here lol. I wish my dealership ( younge & steels) had your color car, I love that color, they told me it's only available in the us lol

You are dead on the money Mazz, it is called rail dust & for anybody that has it I hate to tell you but you will have it for as long as you own your car. My wife has it on her car & I use the mothers clay bar kit & it works amazing only this is the "rust worm" look as i like to call it comes back within a few months. A far as i know there is only 1 company out ther that is really smart about it & you will never see it on there vechiles is volkswagen/audi. Ever drive by 1 of there dealerships & see the cars wrapped in white? that's why the do it. I wish all car companies would do this . Also my wife's car takes me about 6-8 hrs to do this clay bar process on the whole car

John 747 whaere did you buy this product from? was it WRI supply located in Mississauga? If not I can't find a place that sell it, can you tell me where you got it from it looks amazing

Also forgot to mention make sure you turn your lights on, so turn your headlight dial all the way to the right, try that & see what you come up with

Yes I had it done a few weeks ago & it sounds amazing, although it would be nice if I had 1 for the driver side also I also had a cache ceo6 installed so I could run the three amps I had installed.
