1. My Mini antenna broke. I remove it every time I go to the car wash, and it's never been mistreated. The local Mini dealer told me it's not uncommon. I found a better replacement. It's solid metal, and works as well as the Mini one. It also mates to the base better. Here's a link. By the way, the 22nd pic is mine. http://www.cravenspeed.com/products/The-Stubby-Antenna.html
2. I went on a tour of the Louisville assembly plant 2 years ago. It was fascinating.
3. I thought about switching mine to dark charcoal alcantara.
4. Forums are so 2010. You are a hipster. You should use your ipad mini and ask Google things. Just don't accidentally spill your Starbucks on it. That being said, try pushing the button and saying, "I'm hungry." Or "weather map."
5. Because they hadn't thought of it yet. You can always make yours match.
6. I heard cherry bombs on an fx37. It made me want to bolt a blade to the bottom and a bagger to the back. The magnaflow kit sounds pretty good.
7. Yup. Saving money. One headliner for all trim levels and interior colors.
8. You can actually kill a good amount of road noise by Dynamatting the hood.
9. I only really have corrected that dude. He irritates me by being pessimistic and arrogant while offering no help to anyone. The mirror heaters turn on with the defroster, if you actually have heated mirrors. Turn on the defroster, wait about 30 seconds, and feel the mirror with your fingers. You'll quickly know if they're heated. That hard shift has a tsb to correct it. Ask your local dealership.
10. Wrong again. Chrome just means chrome plated. Actual chrome is clear the silver is zinc underneath. They're not all aluminum, either. Ask the 60s and 70s. Ford did it for weight and corrosion resistance, not cost. Chrome plated steel with electroplating would obviously cost less than the same steel wheel with a molded plastic skim that's vacuum plated.
11. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Brock79" data-cid="84297" data-time="1346624840">
I have yet to crank up the volume on it, but im sure it is very similar to the Sony system in the Edge. They do share the same chassis.

Wrong. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_CD3_platform
12. The 22s are smoother. They're heavy. Do a Google search for "inertia." The 18s and 20s will be similar to each other. Dynamatting the floor on the edge > Dynamatting the doors.
13. Do you mean overlays to change the look, or different gages entirely?
14. Actually, the audiocontrol DQL-8 is a better unit.
15. It would be easy to add 2 fog lights with mercury switches and separate relays.
16. Brock, I've been an MECP certified master installer for 14 years. I've seen/heard his setup. He has them in separate enclosures with separate airspace. The 10 is crossed over at mid bass frequencies and the 12s are just for lows. Learn humility. You're not trying to help. Stop regurgitating JL fanboy bullshit. K, thanks, bye.
17. I ordered the weathertechs too. They were horrible. Not even cut straight. I sent them back.
18. You could always paint or powdercoat them.
19. To be honest, if I were the dealer, I would've told you to eat a ****.
20. Screw plastidip for wheels, unless you're in the extreme north and don't have winter wheels. For grille and such, paint.
