EDST777 replied to sixponies's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim
I have a tinkling sound under HeadLiner around a lighting plafond in a luggage carrier in case of movement on the uneven road. I read at a forum it is not fixed wiring which came off an adhesive tape. For its fixing Headliner need to remove. How to remove Headliner, please any councils? -
Vista Roof Motor Replacement?
EDST777 replied to sixponies's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim
In the fall I also had a problem with not closed roof. I read a lot of information here, and I was helped by lubrication. I used silicone (silicon lubrication), it is neutral and doesn't spoil rubber sealers. This method helped me. I think in 80 percent cases matter in lubrication. But my question remained without response how at least partially to remove a ceiling ( Headliner ) in salon of the car. -
Vista Roof Motor Replacement?
EDST777 replied to sixponies's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim
It doesn't look difficult, but the engine expensive, why it to change if it is operational ? I am interested in other question which is connected to it: how it is correct to remove headliner, someone can tell as it correctly to make? Thanks. -
Hello. I need to remove headliner for this purpose, what to remove a tinkling sound in back part, near a dadny plafond of lighting, there where electric motors of a roof of Vista Roof are located. At a forum I read that in this place wiring dangles and creates a tinkling sound in case of a driving on the uneven road. I am disturbed by Airbag. When dismantling headliner it is necessary to delete A,B,C, D-pillar therefore I want to learn as side pillows of safety will react to dismantling. Thanks.

Vista Roof Rattle
EDST777 replied to nsap's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
Hello. At me after winter cold weather the same problems began: rattles in case of a driving on an uneven dogoga in back part of a roof of Vista Roof under a ceiling, around a back plafond of lighting of salon. I read this section of a forum and I have questions: for elimination of a problem it is necessary to dismantle a ceiling, but I don't know as correctly it to make! What latches and in what places fix a ceiling as it is better to remove it. I will estimate any councils. Thanks. -
Somebody I ask, any thoughts. Thanks!)

Thanks, is clear now but where there is a receiver, in what place is located, and whether it is possible to diagnose it, what its OEM number? Nobody had such problems, I the first?) Thanks. P.s.I want to fix this problem, but Ford absolutely have no information on the subject TPMS, there is no schematic diagram of operation, there is no complete description in the user guide or a manual of service and repair. Thanks.

I understood you, but I received four checked sensors, it was guaranteed by the seller, on four wheels, I installed them.

I am sewed such information on vendors of TPMS systems: http://www.fordtpms.com/ http://www.bartecusa.com/ but I can't find the description of the sensors and the principle of their operation. Any thoughts!

Perhaps, but the seller claimed that sensors are checked also the new. Five days after mounting of buses weren't errors. I bought here http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-SINGLE-1-Ford-OEM-TPMS-SENSOR-BLACK-w-OEM-BAND-/121621904960?hash=item1c513afe40&vxp=mtr , rather reliable seller. It is declared by the seller: *BRAND NEW* SINGLE (1) Ford OEM TPMS Sensor BLACK with OEM BAND You're bidding on a *BRAND NEW* SINGLE (1) Ford OEM TPMS Sensor BLACK with Factory BAND. Brand New - Sensor has been tested and guaranteed to work. Factory OEM Mounting Band and Cradle are also included. Sensor Part # - 6F2A-1A176-AE, Band Part # -6L2A-1A177-AC. Please contact your local dealership for the proper application for your vehicle.

According to information the sensors TPMS on Ford EDGE 2006-2010 don't demand a registation (training) from Ford I possess only such information. Maybe someone knows another?

Hi. Help.I own Ford EDGE of 2008 Limited. A week ago I changed wheels with winter for the summer. Before this changeover, for some days I shone a text " tire pressure sensor fault ", pressure was in norm, every other day she went out. I didn't clarify the reason. After changeover of wheels on summer, (in them I beforehand installed new sensors which bought on ebay, original, the seller reported that batteries new), installed on new disks according to the instruction on band. After changeover three days everything was in norm, but for the fourth day the error " tire pressure sensor fault " again shone. Pressure in buses in norm of 2.4 atmospheres. I will be grateful for any councils. Thanks.

It misled me, I thought of the size of a brake disk ). Thanks.

I uninstalled these caps and now my wheels without them. These are the forged wheels of silver color. Caps were pasted on sealant of white color. I will show images later if there is an interest.

Thanks for your help. I have a question: whether brake disks differ with diameter? The OEM disk is declared as 17'', but I saw disks, other brands with other diameters, for example 11 ". This is true, they happen different diameters? I know, what the more a disk (the thermolysis is better), the better but how the disk with a smaller diameter will approach a support? I won't understand? The support isn't regulated. Thanks.

p/s: Now my odometer shows more than 120 000 KM, I shipped the car to the USA in 2011 with indications on the odometer of 80000 KM. I mean passed a little more than 40 000 KM. During this time I never changed brake disks, they were in a good shape, as well as receptacles, my survey always in the spring and in the fall in case of change of disks with rubber (tires).
