  1. Good comparison article from tire rack that should help you decide on springs. http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/tests/eibach_hr_rd.jsp
  2. I'm not into doing mechanic type stuff other than your basic maintenance so I paid a shop to install my springs. I found a great local place that only charged me $250 including alignment on the AWD model. I'm so freaking happy with the difference. It's by far the best performance upgrade I've done.
  3. SItting on Eibach springs. As for quality all I can say is I had two different mechanics tell me they liked Eibach over H&R. The Edge rides and corners 100% better No plasti dip. Ebay 9x3.5" ford replacement emblems and check out all your options. Unless you just need it to say Ford somewhere there are all kinds of cool machined pieces that are works of art IMHO. As for some other modification ideas have you changed out any of the drab dull incandescent bulbs for some LEDs? That's a fairly easy project and not terribly expensive. Switchbacks on the front are excellent looking if you have a limited with the HIDs or if you have upgraded the headlights on another model.

Thank goodness the rear requires just one piece!

Mounted but waiting on the tuxedo black painting on the back piece. Should be done by Tuesday. I guess I'll keep the chrome to have one of each depending on my mood
  6. I did mine in a few phases but I do understand your point.
  7. Man, you have way more patience than me! Good luck.

It's a Sceptre intake with the scoop tube coming out of the front. I ran it down to near the bottom of the car and it adds extra air in by scooping it up from a much cooler area. I did notice a difference in both power and better gas milage.

I finally installed the PBR300 to run the D-Pillar and Center channel Infinity Speakers. The much higher wattage and cleaner sounds really adds to the overall mid-high range now.

I took some pictures within a month or two of purchasing my 2011 last year so I decided to go back to the same area and take some more pictures in the same area last week showing as many of the changes as possible. Since the first set of pics, I have installed a custom exhaust (not shown), Eibach springs, 20% tint all around, and emblem changes.

    Why thank you sir!
  15. Low profile pioneer SW301 12" 2 ohm flat subwoofer for shallow box applications. It can handle up to 1200 watts and 500 RMS. WIll pump out some serious bass. I will entertain all reasonable offers. chris
  16. Hey, my wife is a goober. Her training is in September and not August. She thought it was the first weekend of August and instead it is on 9 September. That maybe gives us some more time to make some plans to get together. Sorry about that. I jumped the gun. c
  17. You are correct. There is no chrome on the back emblem. I looked about an hour after I posted earlier. I should have come back and posted up that I figured it out. I suppose it is just all one piece back there. What did you think of the billet aluminum emblem pieces for sale on Ebay. If you don't desire the word Ford on there they look like a nice option to me.
  18. Im coming up to Atlanta this weekend. I'll throw some alerts your way! :yup: I don't know what you are doing this weekend but my wife is taking a training class for most of Saturday and I'll be looking for something to do. I'm not yet sure where we are staying on Friday night but I know for sure we are coming up that evening. I'll give you a call in the next couple of days and see if we can make some plans. By the way, we bailed on our plans to go to Cleveland a few weeks back so that is why you didn't hear from me. Chris
  19. Any of you guys (or girls) here use an Passport Radar detector with Escort Live hooked to a smart phone? For those that do not and are interested, Escort makes both a hardwire and a cigarette lighter plug with a bluetooth interface that connects to your iphone or Android phone. Then you can run an App that both mimics the radar detector interface and also integrates all the users together whereby drivers can report speed traps, etc and you get alerts. I'm just wondering if anyone on here uses the device and if so how many people are involved. My usual driving area is inhabited by approx. 150,000 people and I have only seen one alert posted by someone else my vicinity. Also, anyone here own the Passport 9500ix or the 9500ci and if so does this thing rock or what?
  20. When you have time will you please post the part number for the rear emblem chrome surround? Thanks!
