does this add app-link functionality to the edge yet?

I know you guys are talking about SLR's but anyone have any recommendations for a nice point and shoot?

I know we don't really have a tuning device for 2011-2012 Edge Sport so I contact SCT and Hypertech. SCT doesn't know when they get around to it, and Hypertech seems to be aware but want more people to request the product. I contacted them because I saw they had one for the 3.7L mustang. Here was Hypertech's response:

yes everything i've read points to usb drive and sd card (if you have nav) and you do it yourself. if you can't then take what you get in the mail to the dealer and they will do it.

Looking at it again, and I wonder if some light heat from a heat gun it could be molded up some as it just seems to sag in that area. I took a picture but the only thing I can see there is tab.

For those that have the gap in the headliner, I noticed there is something on that side that doesn't allow it to sit up all the way, an antenna or something. I'll try to take a picture later if I can.

pull fuse #29 for a few minutes and put it back in. this reboots the MFT system.

passenger side near the front windshield. i'd say closer to the a-pillar

took a look at it again, and if you feel around the headliner in that area it seems there is something there that pushes it down some, perhaps satelite antenna?

well i'm going to have to say i'm wrong, I could never see it cause I was just seeing that black portion of the windshield. then i shined a light on it from the outside and there is a gap on the passenger side. lame

not sure if you saw my question on the other page FordGuru, but can you apply the update and still use the old map card?

Ford Guru, didn't you tell me that it wasn't wise to update the software without the new SD card for the maps, since you didn't think the update would work with the old map card?

a well designed intake that mimics the size of the stock maf housing in most part should not be a problem. as long as the the size of the housing doesn't change the ecu will be able to monitor the air coming across it properly. it's the intakes that change the size of the maf housing that cause an issue. you can increase flow on the stock intake and that shouldn't be an issue because the maf is calibrated for it.

yeah i don't know, i just hardwired in my radar detector and ran the cable along that edge and couldn't get my finger in between to push the cable in unless i pulled it down some.

i don't see any kind of gap in the headline on my 12' sport

not sure if you found your answer yet but no, this programmer doesn't seem to work on 2011 or 2012 vehicles yet. I did inquire to SCT yesterday about the iXTS programmer for the iphone/ipad for my 2012 edge sport, and they said there is no timetable on when they will get to it. maybe if more of us push for it they will add it sooner.

they must have eliminated this on the 2012 it seems

my 2012 sport is pretty quiet all around.

I wish this forum resized pictures that are attached. I hate clicking on them and not being able to see anything but a small portion of it. That's with a high resolution screen too.

where the hood prop sits they should have either put a pad on the hood portion or on the arm portion. as soon as I propped it up it scratched the paint where it rests.
