the bulb that failed to come on wasn't always the same side. and i stopped using auto-on all together and just manually turn them on and have yet to have an issue that way. i took the harness back out and hooked it back up like I had it and everything works fine, minus the auto-on. I'll look at it again today to see if I can figure it out. I'd figure if a fuse was bad they wouldn't work once I took the harness back out.

So my current HID kit is the DDM Tuning 35w kit. I've had issues when using the automatic feature where sometimes one bulb won't fire up so I have to turn them off then back on and it will work. My current solution that resolves this issue is not using the auto feature and turning them off and on manual, don't seem to have a problem with one not firing up this way. So I decided to get the TRS wire harness to see if that would solve the issue, but here is where the problem comes in. I hooked it up the only way I thought was correct, + to + on battery, - to - on batter, one connector to one ballast, one to the other, and then the input connector to the driver side stock connection for on/off since it's closest to the battery. The problem is when I turn the lights on the relays click and the red lights on them light up and the lights don't come on. My only thought is the car doesn't like that the other stock headlight connection is no longer connected to anything. Thoughts?

you'd probably have to replace the leds if that's what it uses to illuminate.

it is a sport edition, not a good gas mileage addition, with performance comes a decrease in mpg. their best bet would have been a slightly bigger 4 cylinder (ie. 2.5L) with a turbo though. or even a turbo on a v6.

I though the fronts come straight back and then the backs cross to opposite sides on the front.

I bought it from ebay. Got them down to $24 and then $6 for priority mail shipping. So far the way to fix the issue with my HIDs both firing up is to manually turn my lights on and off. Seems that they only have failures to fire when they are on automatic. Hopefully this wire harness fixes that issue.

so would those harness's work with the ddm kit?

got mine delivered yesterday morning, texting still doesn't work. only thing I can do is activate siri on the phone and have it go through the cars speakers.

gotta wait for ford to integrate that in mft. got my iphone 5 yesterday and it works no better with MFT.

look up the bolt pattern for the edge, if it matches then you should be able to use them, but also check to make sure the hub bore is the same, otherwise you'll need spacers if they are to big or if they are to small they won't work. also make sure that the size tire you get appropriately matches the diameter of the tires you are replacing, you can use a tire size calculator to figure this out.

it doesn't work, and even if it did the whole mft pre-written text messages are stupid. i'll just wait til my iphone 5 comes tomorrow morning and then use Siri.

apparently even with my 35w HID kit I need the wire harness because often one of mine won't fire up unless i turn them off and back on. so anyone? i don't feel like paying $15 and then another $14 for shipping. so If I could get them for around $20 from someone looking to sell that would be awesome. other wise I'll probably just sell my kit.

why don't you wait until friday to find out, i'm sure it will be just like the others.

this update sucks....I keep getting NAV SD card errors now and have to take the SD card out and put it back in for it to work.

I didn't really play around with it yet, just figured I'd try to repair and then when I did it no longer told me my phone wasn't supported when I went to messaging.

I actually got the text feature to work with my iphone 4 now. I just had to remove the pairing on my phone and then repair it.

do you have the 4 or 4s? wonder if it will work with the 5, preordered that last night.

no text messages over bluetooth with iOS6 on iPhone 4, just tested.

i actually like windows 8. if you are good with shortcuts and what not it is actually very easy to browse through. it does have some annoyances but to me it seems very fast. I use it daily on my work laptop.
