i don't care if the pipes are steel and under the car, bends like that aren't good for smooth flow. and if that isn't stainless steel then the whole kit is worthless, but even with stainless steel you can have smooth bends. good luck selling it.

very intuitive but those bends on the exhaust and intercooler are terrible, obviously aren't mandrel. i don't know who would pay $10k for it either but seeing as it is a one off who knows. a shame you have to get rid of it, I'd love to turbo charge my sport, but not with that kit. i know i sound harsh but it would have been nicer if those bends weren't so terrible.

plus both intakes that you show both use the same k&n filter so there really isn't a difference. you simply showed 2 different intakes for the different model years. so obviously you'd buy the one that was for your model year and swap out the filter as SamIAm suggested..

for those wanting to do this, I highly recommend taking the bumper off. It takes roughly 5 minutes and makes it possible to get all the chrome wrapped right. you have to pull the headlights out a bit to access the 3 torx screw to get the pieces off above them. wrapping it becomes so much easier this way cause you don't have to worry about pushing the vinyl in to small seams or scratching things while cutting it.

the sound in that video seems normal. just sounds like injectors.

why are you using higher than 87 anyways?

I'd say about an hour and a half. But I had to do the top long chrome strip twice cause when I was trimming I didn't realize where I trimmed was still exposed.

well I finally did mine today. i took the bumper off and headlights out to get all the chrome pieces out to make it easier to wrap. I also wrapped the outer chrome portion of the emblem. here are some pics.

only customizing you can do is the wallpaper and i believe that is in the settings under display. those instructions from the manual won't work on the latest version

if you don't want wax catching on that surface then put painters tape across it while you are waxing.

not bad, but would probably look better without that bug deflector. not sure about the 2 tone either.

yeah going to the dealer with the intake asking them about a problem directly cause by the intake usually won't go over well with them.

yeah I noticed that when I was heating it, but got worried with to much as I didn't want to melt it. I have plenty so it was good practice. I'll try again soon.

all my wheels have the tuxedo black even though my grille was gloss black. but ford agree'd to repaint my grille so all is good.

ok I tried to do one section this weekend and was having a little trouble getting it in the creases so i figured taking it apart would be a lot easier.

what intake are you running? an improper sized maf housing will cause the maf to read incorrectly thus cause your fuel trims to be rich or lean. once the car has to add or subtract so much fuel to hit the targeted air fuel ratio it may trigger a check engine light, usually it will say, lean off idle, lean on idle, rich off idle, or rich on idle. i'd make sure you have the correct intake and everything is hooked up correctly. i tune would definitely help it though.

did you remove the chrome pieces to wrap them? is there any easy way to do so? i tried removing some of those screws but it all seems connected.

if the update you are referring to is the latest ford released last month it isn't going to fix the problem.

and if that's the case the and if that's the case then you'd definitely get bad gas mileage and black soot on tailpipes, haha

you most likely won't need a turbo timer. now a days turbos are oil and water cooled and as long as you aren't driving balls out up until you shut it off you are fine. If you are just let it idle for 30 seconds and you're good to go, but my guess is you aren't flying into a parking lot so you'll be fine.

looks sick man. wish PA didn't have strict tint laws, think I might just do 35% on the fronts anyway. You think about wrapping the chrome around the emblem?
