  1. actually it does because it goes to the screen where kc300 explains how to orient the bulb for no shadow.
  2. on the bulb itself there is a wire that goes from the tip to the end of the bulb. if when you put the bulb in it it gets positioned so that it is at the bottom it will cast a shadow. there is nothing wrong with your headlight. kc300 had a video on this, let me find it. edit: i put the video at the time where it shows what you have to do
  3. looks like you need to turn the bulb 180 degrees because you have the return wire on the bottom of it and it is casting a shadow now.
  4. typically if they aren't placed somewhere where cooler air would be it's called an SRI (short ram intake)
  5. home depot, lowes, or any place that sells plumbing supplies.
  6. plenty of threads on this, search
  7. well DDM got the ballast back and they said it failed so they are sending me a new one.
  8. good job, I did it on my mazdaspeed6 before it was totaled (reason for getting edge sport), and it held up well. through 5 winter months it never got a knick or a scratch.
  9. what wheels are those, going to make anything for the sport model?
  10. he didn't say actual brembo's he said brembo caliper covers, basically the same thing you did. i'd do it but I can't justify paying $200 for them.
  11. no need to start 2 threads, the one in the classifieds is all you needed.
  12. the tool available to take the wheels off? you mean a socket and wrench? lol. heck one comes with the car.
  13. the intake for the 3.5 and 3.7 are not the same so its only one or the other.
  14. i've only seen the black in the stores
  15. for starters if you spray with the wheels still on the car, I'd be very careful about spraying to much at once because you'll get runs thanks to gravity. using the glossifier won't do anything to it in terms of making it harder to peel off, it's basically like a plasti dip clear coat. it will give it a little extra durability most likely but it shouldn't just start peelilng off on its own unless it gets chipped. i think you need to use google a little more because a lot of these questions can easily be searched with plenty of answers out there. i know you don't want to screw up, but I get a sense of all the questions you've asked lately that you don't work on cars a lot and I foresee some "oh I screwed up" threads coming. sorry if that's harsh.
  16. just clean the wheels and spray it on, if you spray anything else on you will ruin them and defeat the purpose of plastidip being able to be pulled back off. best place to get it is home depot or lowes for $5-6 a can. You can also get different colors on dipyourcar.com
  17. must be a ballast issue cause I swapped bulbs and the same light failed to stay fired up on start up until I turned them off and back on.
  18. my woes continue. right headlight fired up for a second then went back out, turned lights off then back on and it stayed on. in contact with ddm tuning to determine whether its the bulb or ballast. I guess after work today I'll be swapping sides the bulb is on to see if it follows.
  19. acetone will probably work faster but more risk in damaging plastic bleach will be slower but no risk to plastic
  20. the newest thing I bought that I love is the nanoskin autoscrub. Can do an entire vehicle in 10min and easier on your hands than claying. http://www.detailersdomain.com/NanoSkin-Autoscrub-6-inch-Pad-Kit_p_697.html
  21. the other option to get chrome off plastic is to soak it in bleach, from what I've read.
  22. Yeah seems it does and both come on with it now. Time will tell.
  23. So the problem was the trs connection to the ddm ballasts just had to be flipped. I guess the red led lights up just to signify power to relay. So all is good there. next issue is where to mount this relay, any one have an example?
