    Chrome!

no offense but that does not look good in my opinion
  2. if you are going to claybar it you better polish it afterwords before you put on the opti-coat.
  3. i do at times. i use ultima waterless wash plus. it's very good in my opinion. you don't want to use it if you car is real dirty though and you want to make sure you have good microfiber towels and keep folding so you have a clean portion of towel on the paint. the nice thing about UWW+ also is that you can use it as a rinse less wash too.
  4. not really if he is just doing it by hand, he'd have to work it really really hard for a long time to damage anything. if you use a clay bar you have to polish anyways since the clay bar marrs the paint.
  5. meguiars ultimate compound and ultimate polish are good too, kind of like the 105/205 combo.
  6. can't tell if that's paint from the pole, or paint missing from the bumper. I'd use some polish to take care of that and if that doesn't do it then some rubbing compound. my arsenal of choice would be meguiars m105 and m205.
  7. you don't even have to put it into manual mode to be able to downshift, you can just use the paddles (on the sport that is), but probably use the +/- on regular edge to do the same without being in M mode as well.
  8. not gunmetal, it's tuxedo black. just to clear that up.
  9. if you wanted a 16" wheel why did you buy a sport with 22s?
  10. after my experience on the highway today, Ford got the throttle mapping all wrong on the sport. I mashed the pedal and from the time it actually downshifted itself and went full throttle was almost 5 seconds, pathetic. I guess I could have manually downshifted, but that's beside the point, there shouldn't be that much lag. i'd get a tune just to fix that.
  11. white platinum tricoat is code: UG, it is a tricolor. simple google search.
  12. mine went for a good while after the update before it crashed but in the last month it's crashed twice but fixed it self and said it was performing scheduled maintenance. So they must have wrote the code where if it crashes they just tell you it's maintenance, haha.
  13. sorry feirstein but I think you are wrong, the Edge Sport has great handling and the hide is actually smooth and braking is more than fine. Yes it is for looks, but to put it up there with light bulbs, you must be old fashioned. No body is auto crossing their edge.
  14. I don't even see grey/white as a choice in MFT
  15. the 2011 and 2012 do but will they fit on a 2010? meaning does it have the mounting points of the newer model?
  16. you can set the how many miles to empty warning in the settings.
  17. you're wheels are the tuxedo black. they just couldn't get the tuxedo black paint for a short time so none of the grille's or exterior paint themselves were done that way, they were just gloss black. you could just get the gloss black vinyl and it will be fine, but I wanted my grille to have that metallic flake so they repainted it for me and then I used the metallic vinyl and it looks great.
  18. if your 2012 sport grille isn't metallic you can tell ford that isn't how it is supposed to be and they should repaint it for you free of charge, that is what they did for me. some 2012's didn't get the metallic paint because of the tsunami and ford wasn't able to get the metallic tint for it.

    Magnaflow exhaust

although that one says it fits the sport, that isn't the sport one cause it dual except for tips.
  20. good luck getting that kit to fit with the way the pulleys are on the edge, my guess is it won't work.
  21. when I got my 2012 sport my dealer told me to be sure to rotate them every 5k to get maximum life out of them, although they didn't tell me what that is.
