yeah well I asked Ford about it on twitter last night about applink and MFT and they said they are working on the older sync systems first.

the replacement ballast has yet to fail firing up yet, the other one that wasn't replaced does occasionally though. I've thought about sending it back, but I hate the fact that it takes over a month for the turn around so I said forget it and if it fails to fire up I just turn the lights off and back on and it works.

I got the update from the link on their tsb. Of course I them had to call to see if i could get a nab card from my dealer which they said I could. You can call your dealer and tell them you need the update and they will do it.

I got it to work once I update MFT to 3.5.1. Let it be known the settings you are looking for are on the iphone. The most it does for me is notify you get a message and will read it. It however will not let you send the messages, at least it didn't for me, not that I care anyways.

you only lose sync services, nothing on the screens.

I'll have to ask them when I go to the dealer on Wednesday to pick up the newest Nav card.

I've had this happen a few times on my awd sport now. I can't replicate it though so I doubt they would do anything unless they can.

after driving to and from pittsburgh to near baltimore I averaged 22mpg going an average of 70mph. I have 11,500 miles on my 2012 sport.

speed is a huge factor in MPG, 55-60mph is the sweet spot for the Edge. Also everyone in cold states will be seeing lower MPG's in the winter with the winter fuel mixes and longer times for the engine to heat up. An example of how a cold engine uses more fuel would be this: Usually when you coast in your vehicle the injectors are shut off and it is essentially a giant air pump, well when the engine is still cold it keeps injecting fuel even while coasting. I monitored this on my previous car and assume all cars are like this.

yeah, under the remote start settings for climate there is one for the heated seats for passenger and driver (i think) and both are on auto yet I've never noticed the seat any warmer when I've used the remote start.

my heated seats, even set to auto do not go on with remote start. i hate that your only options to have them come on are auto or off.

the edge doesn't seem to be a car where someone would buy it and instantly think, hmm wonder if there is a forum for this. It's not really a car enthusiasts ride. Now those who are car enthusiast, well I'm sure they, like I am, are on this forum. But even as far as mods are concerned, they are few and far between, really wish there was more for the 3.7L V6.

not sure what I'm looking at here? do you mean the black plastic? if that's the case it doesn't have a clear coat and shouldn't. looks like someone wiped some kind of armor-all on it or something

only issues I'm having with the 3.2.2 version is my phone doesn't always seem to connect. But I'd rather not waist my time at the dealer, but I guess that's the only way to update since they have to give you a new SD card for the nav. If they were smart they would make it so they could update the SD card too.
