  1. The first me you listed has been bought by several people on here, yes it fits the 2013 model as well. The guy that sells them is actually a me,her on here, I believe it is kc300. I have them in my Edge, they fit good and light output is great compared to the stock lights.
  2. shouldnt be a hard fix, if they are like the RGB LEDs I run n my reef tanks. I had this happen to two of the pucks, it was just a loose wire.
  3. When I bought my Edge I had a 2 year service plan thrown in as well as the 5 year 100k mile warranty. I have my oil changed at 5k miles and the Dealership hasn't said anything about it, they take it in and I'm done. My Edge has 16k miles now, I have had for almost a year. I received a letter from ford a few months ago about the MFT and SYNC stating they are now covered for the life of the vehicle, I got the same letter for my SHO as well. So far in my 2 year service plan I have had the oil changes, the replaced the cabin filter and all three windshield wipers as well. I asked about the rear wiper and they said don't worry it's covered under the plan and we will replace all three. I didn't know this when I got the plan, but it was thrown in with the extended warranty.
  4. A TB by itself won't do anything for your Edge in power or fuel economy. For that to work properly you would need to do the CAI and exhaust as well. The TB can pull in more air with the stock air filter as that is only at so many CFM and the TB is rated for more. The exhaust can't push out more CFM either in stock form. I think the power you are feeling is in your head. Don't take that the wrong way, it wasn't meant to be an insult. The TB upgrade is a common mod people do to Mustangs and other sports cars, but you need to upgrade everything to see results.
  5. Living in NJ I average around 21 MPG. But traffic here is not really the same as most other parts of the US. I did get 31 MPG on a road trip to Myrtle Beach. That was with 3 people and a full cargo area, two fill ups for a 660 plus mile trip. I did have gas left in the tank when I got there. My highway average near me is more around 25-26 MPG but you can rarely go more than a mile in NJ before hitting some kind of traffic.
  6. Years ago back in 98 I had a mustang of mine get totaled. The car was parked but got hit by a tractor trailer that jumped a curb, it took the engine out of the car. A few years later I decided to run the VIN just out of curiously to see what carfax would say. It showed the car registered in a near by town with no damage history at all. My insurance paid a full claim out to me for that car, I will never trust carfax or auto body shops.
  7. How sturdy do they feel? My GF has trouble getting in and out of the Edge, but I have felt some of the other plastic ones out there and they a Ways felt soft.
  8. Since others chimed in, I went from NJ to Myrtly Beach last summer. My Ecoboost was giving me 33 mpg according to the computer at 70 MPH anything over that speed the MPG drop drastically. I averaged 28 MPG for the whole 660 plus mile trip one way. It took two tanks each way. I would have had better overall MPG but driving from NJ to Washington DC there was more stop an go traffic.
  9. I saw the turbo V6 mustang with the 3.7, after the exhaust, tune and CAI it was beating stock GT times.
  10. i bought the SHO for the reasons you named as well as the fact I could throw a few dollars at it and Make it just as fast as any higher model camaro, mustang or even base corvettes and other vehicles in the category. People that know what a SHO is already know they are quick 4 door cars. But it really surprises people when you blow by them and they can't catch up. I kind of like that feeling, you might not understand if you are thinking only mustangs and cars like that should be bought to go fast. I looked at the Cadillac CTS-V but couldn't justify spending 70 grand on it. By they way you can even buy that in a station wagon body and blow the doors off a lot of cars out there. I think you need to stop being so narrow minded, also what kind of times are you running in your Cobra? Who built you roll cage and what tires are you running in the rear? Also what gears and rear end?
  11. I agree he has a lot of posts, it seems he has nothing else to do rather than live on this forum. If that's what he wants to do so be it, but yes he has been wrong on a few occasions which is understandable. Everyone is wrong once in awhile, including myself.
  12. i do offer to help others and I have, you are just mad because I corrected you on the sub woofer thread. Don't get your panties in a bunch because you were wrong. I don't like telling people to go do something if they are uncomfortable doing something. There are many different types of people out there. Just because you feel comfortable doing something to your car doesn't mean the next guy will. I also have seen multiple threads were you have been wrong and given out the wrong info. You can pull the wool over someone's eyes that doesn't know any better. But your not gonna fool me with the wrong info and trying to tell me you are right. I will give you credit for being right on some things and having the guts to pull apart your new car. But like you I understand how the cars snap together and how complicated looking things are simple. A lot of people don't want to rip apart a 30k plus vehicle. That's why I don't tell people to do it unless they are comfortable doing it.
  13. the bugs are for example that I'm aware of and have seen some personally. Ground noises from the unit, sending no signal to one speaker or multiple speakers, fried circuit boards. They are also not the most user friendly piece out there. I have taken two of these out with bad ground noises and replaced them with the JBL and no ground noise. The JBL is also the most user friendly processor avaliable as of now. There were a few other bugs with the bitone as well, but they were less common.
  14. Yea, I looked tonight, that symbol however is the parking light symbol on the headlight knob.
  15. Did my interior today, thanks to Dan for all the bulbs and Dome light. I think it took me all of 10 minutes to do everything.
  16. Are you guys sure that indicator isn't your high beams? I'm not 100% sure but I think I remember that popping up when I turn the high beams on. I will check tonight though to male sure.
  17. it was part of the equipment package that included the 20" chrome clad wheels, roof rack and ambient lighting. I think it was package 205 or 208, I have to double check the number but its in there. Not sure if its because I have an ecoboost and that made the option avaliable, no clue why that would matter though. I have heard of several SELs having ambient lighting though.
  18. At least there are others out there that know how to haggle the price down, I got my edge for 30k out the door and the sticker was 37,700. A lot of people don't believe and I have actually shown a few people the paperwork. Ford gave me an interest rate of 5.99% as well, I assumed it was because the lower price I got on the vehicle and I only financed the minimum of 7500 so I could get the rebates.
  19. I wouldn't use the Internet search for inventory. I noticed most dealerships don't keep their sites updated. Or they don't add all vehicles maybe one or two of each model. When I bought my SHO, the dealer I went to was showing one white SHO avaliable. I went there knowing that this dealership always has more than one normally. I was right they had seven in stock, the were all white or black though, I wanted the charcoal gray but got an awesome deal on this car as well so I went with black. Sticker was 46,000 walked out paying 37,500.
  20. As for HP claims of the edge sport and all edge engines, there really isn't a considerable amount of difference between the test times of the three engine levels. Not enough to make you go WOW I need the sport engine because it blows the other two away. I would however like to see a tune come out for the 2.0 ecoboost, I know there are talks about one being made, but for the focus ST or whatever they are calling it. From what I read they were talking about a 350hp with upwards of 400 TQ for the 2.0 ecoboost. This would definitely but the ecoboost ahead of the sport in track times.
  21. i think you are highly underestimating the new SHO, when it was stock I stayed neck and neck with stock corvettes from 99-04. I now have a livernois tune, exhaust and intake, all said the tune was suppose to bring the HP up to 450-480, I'm not sure how accurate or close,to those numbers it came to, the TQ supposedly will be in the same ballpark maybe higher from their claims. I haven't had the car dynoed and haven't looked into an AWD dyno near me. I do know one thing, this thing has to be hitting low 12's now. It feels just as fast as my Cobra and I use to hit low 12's constantly when I took it to the track.
