Congrats & welcome to the community! Two great vehicles, IMHO. The turn signal on mine is a pain, tho not as much as yours. Asked the dealership, they indicated it's normal. Since you did not get it new, it is possible that it has BECOME annoyingly difficult over time, and so I would definitely have it looked at. Still under warranty, especially. This has been a problem on other vehicles in Ford's lineup, but I have not seen/heard anything done about it by Ford yet.

Could try getting the PCM flashed, if there is a new version out. There are various transmission TSBs over the years that may be kinda related.

There is a video writeup on YouTube related to the Vista roofs, I haven't sat through this 3 parter, but may be helpful.

The thought that comes immediately to mind is that the front and rear springs are swapped. The front is supposed to lower 1.75 & rear 1.5 inches, correct?

Hopefully the event stored a code(s). Could be indirectly related to the PCM Calibration TSB for slowing down & having a firm shift/clunk when tipping the throttle. Doesn't sound like the throttle body itself.

Tarek, any gasoline 87-93 octane should be fine for your Explorer. Performance should be improved with 93 octane, though can't speak for how your MPGs are affected.

Can you put up a video so we can listen to this sound as well? Hard to hazard a guess otherwise.

MPG will likely be disappointing for a coupla thousand miles initially as the engine/drivetrain settles in. Should pick up nicely after that, and certainly after the first oil change. Quite a few modders on here, and they lend their knowledge/experience willingly. Ask away if you have Q's, and certainly we welcome any "new" ideas you may have!

The dimensions definitely look different between the 9005/9006 at the base of the lamp glass. The 9006 seems to have a wider/thicker body at that point, and if so, that could affect installation.

Have not driven in rain with windows open, so no idea. But it seems a good set of vent visors would be helpful?

Welcome to our stomping grounds! What color is your Edge, and do you have any pics? Yeah, aside from engine/transmission mods (which would be one offs rather than plentiful), there are a lot of things people have done with body & electronics. Doesn't mean new ground can't be broken! At least one person on here has updated their 3.7L engine (throttle body/tune), and I know other platforms with the 2.0L EB engine have engine/transmission tunes being worked on.

Glad to hear something may finally be done about the engine problem, but it is certainly heartbreaking to hear the troubles you have had to go through to get to this point. There is no excuse for the complaint not being noted in the service history. It should have a note attached "Issue cannot be duplicated" or something, but it should BE there. You have been documenting the problem on this forum since early January, so even if the dealership does not have a "record", we certainly do! You should have legal recourse, but would likely be a long process unless you know a very good lawyer who specializes in such cases.
