I have a 2013 Edge SE with the plastic steering wheel with 101A package. I'm looking into replacing it with the leather OEM wheel. I found one on eBay that has 6,000 miles on it. Anyone know if this could be a job I attempt myself or would I need to bring it into the dealer to install the leather wheel? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Finally got around to replacing the shift knob on my SE with the leather and chrome knob. I must say, I am very pleased. It's much more comfortable than the plastic shift knob. It wasn't too terribly difficult to replace, but I believe it took around 2 hours to complete. The hardest part was removing the lower floor console side trim because the seats are basically in the way even when you have them all the way back. I included a few pictures for anyone that has an SE that might want to tackle this. Sorry, I didn't get a picture of every step. The part cost me around $70 total shipped.

Does anyone know if the door handles from the 07-10 Edge fit the 11-13 Edge? I've been looking to replace with the chrome handles but can only find them for the 07-10 model year. When I compare them to the 11-13 year they look the same. Thanks

Think I may have found the retainer pin- Fender Liner Retainer - 2013 Ford Edge W712196-S300Would I still need to purchase the lower valance? I thought mine already had that.

So I bought the front fender extensions for my 2013 SE and installed them. My question is, do I have them installed correctly? The parts clearly have them labeled as LH and RH on the backside but I feel like something is still missing? And what's up with the hole on the extensions? I think these are standard on the SEL and up models so if anyone has a little time to look at theirs and maybe post up a pic to compare to mine that would be great. I just want to make sure they are installed correctly. Thanks for the help.

I hear ya. I should have purchased the SEL with all of the options but too late now. If you find someone at the dealership please let me know how/if it can be done. I think it's possible, but I'm guessing wiring will have to be ran and something at the dealer will have to activate the camera into the screen.

Yea hopefully someone else that may know more info can chime in and help. I have also heard something about ford going in and changing a setting to make it work. I want to try and keep it OEM if possible, just looks much cleaner that way. P.S.- Didn't mean to school you or offend you in anyway if I did, I've just been really curious if this would work and I happened to just browse upon that SEL with that option. I didn't even know it had the camera until I opened the pictures.

Edged Up, This is why I was asking if it could be done on the SE model. I found this SEL appearance package that has the same screen setup as mine and it has reverse camera. I don't have dual climate control. So it looks like it might be possible?? See pics below. Pic of my screen is the last one on the right.

I've also hear of this being the best solution for our model. Guess I'll just have to go that route. If you ever get it done to your Edge let me know.

No, I also have the entry level audio without my ford touch. Would the OEM reverse camera still work?

I was hoping I could just look at the center screen on my dash. I think its the 4.2 inch screen. I wanted to try to keep it oem but if that's not possible what would be my best option? I went to my dealership where I bought the car and they could install the rear view mirror with camera but wanted to charge $600.

Does anyone know if the Edge SE model has the factory wiring already installed if I wanted to install the reverse camera? If not, would it still work with the oem camera? I don't think it pops off on the newer models. I believe the entire shift assembly has to be replaced. It's a lengthy process also.

I'm interested in these but live in Oklahoma. How much were you looking to get for these?

Thanks, I did notice a round design on the bottom of the mirror when I took them off previously to paint the caps. I'll check tonight and see if there is any wiring behind them.
