Just for the record I have a 2014 Edge sel. I've never had 1 single issue or problem with MFT and my navigation is always on point. This is also my second Ford vehicle with MFT. Absolutely love the way my Edge handles and not to mention I always get nice comments on its looks and style

Lol been using one since I bought my edge 6 months ago. No more finger prints but now I get dot prints instead. Seems like no way around it. I do like how it's easier to tap on what you want since I was always hitting the wrong thing with my fingers

As far as #2 goes could the radio system be set to increase volume as interior noise gets louder? (Such as rolling down the windows) I forgot the name of this but can be adjusted in the settings.

Tuxedo Black with Med light stone interior and chrome clad wheels. Love the looks together and have always liked black vehicles despite those who tell me I'm going to have to wash it every day. But....not my first black car. I say....sometimes a dirty car (exterior that is) says I've been out have some fun in my Edge. Ha ha

I guess I haven't fully understood why this feature shows but we can't access or use it. Doesn't make sense to me.

Last night installed new husky front and rear mud guards. Today got my illuminated door sills put on. Tomorrow hubby will put on the rear bumper protector.

Snake456 can you please tell me what wire or fuse did you tap into for the LED strip lights? We added some to the front and rear flooring but currently is lighted by the cigarette plug that came with the LED kit. We would like them to be hard wired. Even better would be for them to come on when the head lights come on like they do from the ambient lighting when you get this from factory

Last new car I purchased the extended warranty through Ford. Of course that price was rolled into my loan and into my payments as well. This time I got the extended warranty for my new 2014 Edge through my insurance company. I have Geico. I had totally forgot about this nice option with Geico when we purchased a new car a few years back. Added it for the cost of about $43 per 6 month Premium. Still works out cheaper then going through the dealer.

Purchased my Tuxedo Black 2014 SEL FWD with 205A. I didn't need AWD since mainly good weather year round in CA. Definitely went after certain things that I wanted or needed. Leather seats a must as I'm not a cloth seat person, BAMR is fun and nice to have, 18" chrome clad (all though I'm worried about hitting a curb and killing them now that I see how there made), Navi is a must since I drive a lot as part of my job and sync is my best friend. I love it. I'm also happy to have a key again with keyless entry (prior to this car I had key fob with push start). Love the fact that I can once again go to the beach and lock my keys in the car. Only thing I wish I had was ambient lighting and memory seat/window as I have to reset after hubby drives my car.

I will have to upload some pics. Meanwhile getting excited about reading what mods everyone is doing. I myself just ordered the illuminated door sills (will have ford install those), upgraded floor matts with "edge" logo (carpeted), rear bunmper protector and some husky front & rear splash guards. Good thing I read the post and didnt order the splash guards on the ford accessories website, Guess not to many liked those ones. I thought about ordering the ambient lighting as I had those in my c-max but didnt seem to happy with what I would get and seemed a bit expensive to have those put on by ford. Instead I got some aftermarket ones and hubby is putting those on this weekend. I'll upload pics on how they turn out afterwards.

Wanted to say hi and introduce myself. Im from Nor Cal area. I purchased my new black 2014 Edge SEL last week. I'm so loving it. Over the summer I had purchased a new C Max hybrid but after taking a weekend trip to Idaho and having to rent an SUV (we rented an Edge) to get kids and gear in it and after my husband freaking out because the C MAX does not have a spare tire I decided to trade it in. C Max was just to small for me, pano roof doesn't open, to low to the ground but did get some awesome gas mileage. The Edge is perfect for me and such a good looking vehicle. I couldn't be happier. I've been reading lots of good info here and look forward to more.
