  1. Thanks for the info. I guess it boils down to who, or rather what comp0any wants to provide aftermarket support then. Why make one for FWD and not AWD? I would assume that the sport edition has a beefier sway bar. It can be just an assumption on my part though. Has anyone looked into the sport sway bars? They should be compatible.
  2. Apologies in advance if this has been asked elsewhere. The only ones that I have seen available are for FWD models. Is there a legitimate reason why there are no anti sway bars available for AWD models. There are plenty of of AWD performance vehicles that have them. Just curious.
  3. Order placed at the group buy price. Will take some pics when its installed. Thanks once again Nick for sharing the info.
  4. Thanks for the info Nick, My lady spoke to you via FB. Her username is Maria MCY
  5. I know not having a facebook account is a rarity these days. But for those of us who don't. Is there any other way to see what mods are available?
  6. My friends passenger's side window will go auto down/ up in his bimmer. It's not a mod, trust me dude only does what's necessary, reg maintenance by the book etc. I think it would be an awesome idea/ mod if the rest of the windows could do this in the edge.
  7. My friend and I are very interested in doing your interior light mod. I have a couple of questions. Would you mind sharing how to complete the install? Where did you tap into the power and which wire you tapped into for dash dimming, did you use a resistor or anything to regulate power etc. Thanks in advance.
  8. I had the door ajar issue and it was serviced under TSB 15-0013. Less than two months later the door ajar issue raised its head. Brought it back to the stealership and they replaced the door latch. Hopefully this will rectify the issue once and for all.
  9. I thought that using the orange Rain X would be the easiest albeit the cheapest soloution. I have used Rain X directly in the past. I just happened to be out and figured might as well kill two birds with one stone. I've seen Aquapel before but never heard of FlyBy30. If you do a quick google for Rain X stains paint you will see it on plenty of forums. If I have time this weekend I'll drain it and get something cheap that has antifreeze properties in it. Thanks for the advice.
  10. Not mad at all. LOL Do what you can to keep her on the road safely and reliably.
  11. Thanks for the visual... What would you suggest replacing it with. I don't think I have ever seen stains on a car before from windshield washing fluid.
  12. My friend told me that the orange rain x stains his cars..... I never had a problem with it....Decided to put it my black edge and never really gave any thought to it until I needed to use it.... FF few weeks later I use my windshield washer and it stains. What is the best/ preferred windshield washer fluid to use. Apart from running it through the system is there a easy way to drain it? Thanks in advance.
  13. You're right and he said the same. I'll be looking for a replacement tire sooner than later. Or if I can swing it I'll get a set.
  14. Mr. Tire couldn't repair my tire as the nail was in the outer tread. I ended up going to my mechanic who plugged it for me for free. Will deff be dropping off lunch when I'm in his area. I know I should have RTFM. Soon as he put air in the tire the TPMS indicator light went away. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions/ advice.
  15. Ive been doing plus the majority of my life and a patch when warranted. But this is the first car that I've owned that has a TPMS. Got a nail in a rental sometime last year. I went to pep boys, bought a plug kit borrowed their pliers and pulled it and plugged in a few minutes. It deff help that i could access the nail. Simply turned the car back in and kept it moving. My main reason for posting was because of the TPMS. I thought of it like the broken window syndrome. See a house with a broken window next thing you know there is another and then their is trash and then their is graffiti etc. I wanted to do it right and get it done. Not saying anything is wrong with a plug. My first reaction was to plug it. They are infinitely easier to use than a patch. .
  16. It is a great business tactic. Its like getting your glasses repaired for free. 8/10 times you will find your self getting something from them in the future.
  17. My wrench said he can do it for $30-50 honest guy, owns his own shop fully qualified etc and charges accordingly. Paying him to do this feels like paying a surgeon to remove a splinter. There is no Discount/ American Tire in my area but I did find a Mr.Tire and they have a coupon for a free flat repair. Hopefully they will sort me out. Thanks for the advice.
  18. Thanks for the info Akirby. Nothing is free here in Philly lol. But if it saves me a trip to the steelership I feel better already.
  19. Good Morning Group, The TPMS sensor light lit up on my 2013 Edge Sel, shortly before arriving to work.....I discovered a nail in the passenger side rear tire. Part of me wants to plug it since its not on the side wall. If that is successful how do I go about resetting the TPMS. If that doesn't work I guess I can go to pep boys or where and get a tire. Can they reset the TPMS or do I have to go to the steelership and pay to get it done? Thanks in advance.
  20. Looks great might consider doing something like that in the future.
  21. That combo is sick. Love it. I'd love to get a black headliner for my black on black edge. Don't have the slightest clue to why its not black its like a light/ medium grey....Not remotely close to charcoal....
  22. If its possible, would you mind sharing the price?
