  1. I can't say that I "hate" it but at first, I was finding it weird that the engine stopped while waiting for the traffic light to change. It took a short while to get used to it and now, it doesn't bother me anymore and I let it do it's job. Claude.
  2. Mine's all black (inside and out) but… with all the chrome trim I could get! . On the picture below, it has it's original wheels but I also have some 22" wheels and tires which I had on my previous Edge and that I'll put on next spring. The chrome wheels should really "pop" against the black! Claude
  3. Thanks "jamie1073" for explaining, now I understand better. I have a laptop with windows 7 so I guess I should be good to get the updates….and since you have it on your ST, did it really made a big improvement …or not as expected?… In other words, was it worth it?.. and last, can you go back to the stock programming if needed (like going to the dealer for some warranty work or selling the car)? Thank you, Claude.
  4. Just for fun, I was looking at the new 2020 Edge Titanium for sale on Ebay and one thing caught my attention… There seems to be two grilles available on 2020 Titaniums… 1st, a new grille (first picture) and also 2nd, the same grille as in 2019 (second picture)… Anyone here noticed that? Both are listed a 2020 Titaniums... Claude. P.S: --> Could it be because the one in the first picture is equipped with the "Elite" package??
  5. Thank you Nick for your reply… However, I didn't really find a clear answer as to should I buy a tuner or not… One other thing… I went on Livernois' site and read the instructions for that specific tuner and they say it comes without any tunes already downloaded in it and to e-mail them the vehicle's serial number, the "ECU code and "SW" code (whatever that is…)…I'm not really at ease with spending $600. for a tuner which comes "empty" and then rely on the seller to e-mail me some tunes… Heck, I e-mailed them for more info and they never replied to me!!… and just the fact that they don't even care to reply to a simple e-mail doesn't look very good for me to have confidence in them!…
  6. "Gimp", I didn't buy my Ecoboost Edge for the engine at all. I wanted a Titanium model and it was the only engine available. I'd definitely like more hp but I didn't buy an ST model because I don't like the way it looks. So now I'm stuck with trying to get more power out of the little 2.0L engine but judging by what I'm reading here, I'm not sure it's worth all the trouble and expense… Too bad because I love everything about my Edge except that I am disappointed with the little lackluster 4 cyl engine… Claude.
  7. Has anyone here tried the Livernois "Mycalibrator" touch tuner for the 2.0L engine? If "yes" is it worth it? I'm asking because I might be interested in getting one but at $600. I'd like some feedback about before buying… LINK: https://www.livernoismotorsports.com/product/LPP631154 … And what about their "Throttle enhancer" ? Worth it or not? LINK: https://www.livernoismotorsports.com/product/LPP690401 Thanks, Claude.
  8. I don't remember exactly but it must have been around $400.~$500. (for the whole front end and mirrors). The place I went can do any car, not just high-end. Claude.
  9. There is no cover on my '19 either… Claude.
  10. Claude my friend…nice to hear from you!… What I meant in my initial post is that I love everything about my Edge…but it's just that I have a hard time getting accustomed to the "buzzing" sound (or feeling) of the little engine which seems to be working hard when I "step on it" compared to a bigger engine which gets up to speed effortlessly. All my life I've had big engines in my vehicles (350, 440, 454, turbo V6, a 7.3 and now a 6.4 liter diesel, etc…) . Now I'm 67 y/o and this is my first 4 cyl engine and it's quite a contrast for me when compared what I've had in the past. But don't worry...like I said in my initial post, I still love my Edge... It's probably me getting old!... Joyeux Noel et Bonne Année ! Claude.
  11. Does someone know if there are some performance tunes for the 2019 2.0l engine? Claude.
  12. Can you "tune" these?? … I agree with you that it would help "ease the feeling" especially if it makes it faster than a stock ST! Claude.
  13. I got my '19 Titanium earlier this year (July) and it replaced my '16 titanium with the V6 engine. While I love everything about the car (looks, comfort, ride, etc…) I'm having a very hard time to get used to the 4 cyl engine . It buzzes like if I was driving a Hyundai Accent or any other cheap small car… The sound of the V6 was more pleasant, smoother too. Day after day while driving my Edge, I regret not getting a ST just to have the V6 engine (even if it has the all-black trim making it look like a base model which is THE reason why I chose the Titanium). Anyone else here feels like I do? Claude.
  14. Yeah, even if it's an "insurance case", the modification still has to be done by the dealer to prevent it from happening again. And...I don't understand what road salt has to do with the backglass shattering…
  15. "Angel22" go to the dealer and tell them what happened. There definitely IS a service bulletin about that! My dealer did an "update" free of charge on my '16 Titanium to prevent the backglass from shattering. Claude.
  16. They're just extra storage… and other than the small white plastic funnel and cargo net, there isn't anything else in there from the factory. I'm not sure if all Edges come with the cargo net or if it's an option... Claude.
  17. No...You're not supposed to put anything on a Edge's roof. Claude.
  18. It doesn't charge likely because your LG5 phone doesn't have that feature. It's a feature newer phones have. Unfortunately, my HUAWEI P20 Pro doesn't have it either (but the newer P30 Pro does). Claude.
  19. Wow… Thanks "Chipster"… It's classy! … I find that it looks greener (better as far as I'm concerned ) than the "Persian Green" Escape shown in your post from Dec. 7th… Could it be that the Escape shown wasn't "Persian Green" but rather "Atlas Blue"? … Claude.
  20. Thanks "Chipster" for the picture… Now I'm wondering what "Atlas Blue" looks like… Claude.
  21. Has anyone seen these two new colors for the 2020 Edge?… ( "Atlas Blue" and "Persian Green") ? I haven't seen one yet... Claude.
  22. Go to your dealer and tell them that you want to keep the vehicle at the end of your lease and they will determine the amount left to pay and write a check it for the balance…Then you have to go to the "SAAQ" to have it transfered from Ford Motor Credit to your personal name. Bonne chance! Claude.
  23. No it's not a mistake. I always use the factory recommended tire sizes and never any tire-related problems. I use 20"s in the winter and 22"s in the summer but both these sizes are factory recommended sizes. Claude.
  24. Back when I had my '16 Titanium, I had the same issue. I complained about it at my dealer and there was indeed a service bulletin about this problem. They replaced all the lower weatherstrips, added a small deflector behind the front wheels, all this at no charge and you know what?…It worked wonders! No more (or very little) debris at the bottom of the doors. I since traded it for a '19 Titanium and they now come from the factory with the new "updated" weatherstripping version and deflector, etc... Also, when the dealer did the update on my '16, it was still under warranty but I'm not sure if it'll be covered now… The best thing is to go and ask them… but even if it' s not covered, it's really worth having it done! Good luck! Claude.
  25. Well I changed my glasses, went back and looked again and… Nope!… I can't help it… It still looks U-G-L-Y to me. … and I agree with you "2nd Edge" they should have named it something else. By doing that, I think Ford is taking away lots of the legend the name "Mustang" is known for… Anyways, call it whatever name you want, it's still ugly. Claude.
