  1. Ok... I indeed went through Google Play and I did see "Ford Pass" but I wasn't sure as there were also several other apps but now that I know, I'll download "Ford Pass". Thanks again, regards, Claude.
  2. I'm a little confused because I've found "Ford Pass" "Ford Remote Access" and "Ford App Catalog" … … Which one is the correct one to use?? Claude.
  3. I'm wondering if there's a way to remote-start my '19 Edge using a cell phone app (Android)? Thanks, Claude.
  4. Was it really worth it?… only you know... but that's why I said (in one of my previous posts) that " I'd rather live with it and keep it like that than having the dealer replace the windshield and risk having the paint scratched", etc... and now seeing that it didn't make such a difference after all... Claude.
  5. Not to break up the fun here…but my '19 Titanium already does that from the factory. When using the turn signal (flasher) , the daytime running light automatically turns off until the turn is completed and the turn signal returns to the "off" position, and then the daytime running light comes back on again. Claude.
  6. I also have a 2019 with the rotary gear selector and I like it, nothing to complain about. Claude.
  7. I just did the dual horn mod today but did not remove the top horn from the bracket when doing the re-installation (like shown in the video) and you know what?…"9mmbulitt" was right...I should have because the bolt which fastens the bracket to the car is hard to get at! It took me 30 minutes just to fasten that single bolt and my right hans hurts from all the contortions I had to make, but I finally got the job done and the horn now sounds much better.
  8. When I had my '16 Titanium, my back glass never shattered but it's my dealer who informed me that there was a service bulletin about that and there was a modification which had to be done, so they did it at no charge. I now assume that it's already done on the newer models... Claude.
  9. welcome and congratulations on your great buy! I bought a brand new '16 Titanium AWD which I would still have if I hadn't sold it to my father-in-law. Liked it so much that I didn't hesitate and bought another Titanium AWD, but this time a '19. Which color is yours…and do you have the 4 or 6 cylinder engine? Claude.

  11. Yeah, that's what I was thinking about… I had the drawer in my '16…but I don't know if the components in my '19 will be in the way of the drawer or not... Claude.
  12. That seems like quite an easy modification to do but …won't the drawer interfere with all the stuff that's already in there? Claude.
  13. Just have your vehicle sprayed with some oil-based anti-rust product and it should slow down if not stop the surface rust problem. Most of the parts you pictured aren't made of stainless steel or are unpainted so they all tend to get surface rust even when brand new, sitting on the dealer's lot. Also just driving in the rain is enough to make surface rust appear but no need for concern, as they all do that sooner or later. Claude.
  14. I use any brand as long as it's the correct viscosity recommended (5W-20) by Ford and never had any problem. Claude.
  15. Yes mine is like that… There is a post about that problem here : https://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/27118-warped-windshield-2019-titanium/ Claude.
  16. "timeshifter", here's my advice: If you want an"updateable to Sync 3 system", then get yourself a 2016 and NOT a 2015 or older because the on-screen display is the old style (like in the 2014's and older) and I'm not sure you can update them to "Sync 3". The newer, compatible system came out with the 2016 model year and definitely can be updated. I know because I did the update on my 2016 (before selling it to my father-in-law). …but other than that, there's nothing wrong with a 2014 and older (my girlfriend still has my previous 2011 MKX), it's just that they might not be as "high-tech"compatible as the newer generation. Good luck in your search, Claude. P.S: …and about the glass roof, just to re-assure you, I've owned 3 Edges, all with the panoramic sunroof and none ever leaked or squeaked….and all of them also were AWD and again not a single issue with them, so don't be worried about the roof or the AWD. Hope this helps...
  17. Do some of you guys have seen the new colors for the 2020 Edges? I've read the names of some colors but I don't have any idea of how they will look… Among the new color names are --> "Dark Persian Green", "Desert Gold", "Atlas Blue", "Rapid Red", "Star White" and "Iconic Silver". The other colors ( "Performance Blue", "Magnetic", Burgundy Velvet", "Agate Black" and "Oxford White") are unchanged from 2019. Claude.
  18. "Jombi" if the tires that were on your car wore evenly (even if there must not be much wear after only 1,000 miles), you don't need an alignment. Just have the winter tires installed and you're good to go. The alignment they want to sell you is just a catch to get more money from you probably because they want to recuperate on the "too good deal" they gave you on the tires. If they refuse to sell you only the tires without the alignment, then run to another tire shop! Good luck, Claude.
  19. Looks great "basment"!… Similar to mine except mine is black instead of red (with the "Elite" option package like yours) … but… did you have those wheels painted black of if they came like that from the factory? Claude.
  20. …"Would I buy Edge again?" Yes, absolutely without hesitating. Claude.
  21. "Jombi", it does look like you said in your first post --> "a round peg in a trapezoid hole". Claude.
  22. Yes, me. The dealer replaced all the weatherstrips at the bottom of the rocker panels on my 2016 Titanium for their newer design and this free of charge. There is a service bulletin about that. I can tell you that it made a big improvement. Now there's practically no more debris (or very little) accumulating at the bottom of the doors. I sold my '16 to my father-in-law and bought a new '19 which already comes with the new weatherstrip design. and That's exactly what they did with the new ones. They're thicker, wider and make a much better seal against the bottom of the doors. Claude.
  23. I just decided to go with "THATSIT" … ! Claude.
  24. Thanks but it won't work…same problem as I described in my second post… Thanks though. Claude.
