  1. Wow... I just saw the picture of your wrecked '15!... Glad you got out of it alive! About your "new" '18 Sport, It looks beautiful...The stance, the wheels, and especially the color... looks great! Personally, it's the grille which I'm not too crazy of, but other than that, it looks beautiful! Great job! Claude.
  2. Nick, just by looking at them on top of the boxes I don't really see a difference when compared with the original ones... Please post pictures "before" and "after" once installed to make it easier to compare! Thanks, Claude.
  3. Well you can't wrap these because of they got too hot... The only good way I can think of would be to have them powdercoated a kind of semi-flat black. Claude.
  4. I didn't say that thinking about safety, but rather about the appearance. ...but you have a point there! Claude
  5. ??...Is there some chrome on a ST?... Where??... (BTW, it's for that exact reason I bought a Titanium and not an ST...) Claude.
  6. Yep, that's exactly what I mean... Claude.
  7. No, I don't like the new trend these days of having a display that looks like if someone stuck a "tablet" on the dash instead of a display which looks more "built-in", molded into the dash like our Edges have now... Claude.
  8. Back when I had my '16Titanium, the dealer did the "TSB" which "omar302" posted above at no charge. They replaced the weatherstrips at the bottom of the rocker panels and installed small deflectors behind the front wheels and I think there was some weatherstrips to replace on the rear doors too. Now that I have a '19 Titanium, I checked it and I see that it now comes with the new style weatherstrips already installed at the factory. Claude.
  9. Very nice indeed!... I love the color!! Claude.
  10. Mmmm I don't think so. Some tires are specifically made with an asymetrical thread to help traction as well as dispersing water. As for testing each tire, they don't have time for that as production has to move at a certain pace. And about going to OEM, you can't really count on that for very long because after a while, tire manufacturers discontinue a certain tire thread to replace it with another one.
  11. I did have my previous Edge aligned but it wasn't very out-of-specs. Still pulled left or right. Unfortunately I don't have the alignment specs. "Waldo" might be right when he says that "The Edge is very sensitive to this type of issue, just due to the nature of its suspension geometry" The only thing I was able to do it to learn to live with it... Claude. P.S: Like I said in my previous post, as soon as install my winter wheels and tires, the problem goes away... so it's obvious the problem comes from the t-i-r-e-s.
  12. I've had this problem (as a matter of fact, I still do ) and it's definitely the tires. I've tried rotating them many times front to back, left to right, etc... I even tried my wheels/tires setup on two different Edges and the problem was there on both of them, like if I transfered the problem from one vehicle to another. Like "fredro" said, there's "Not much I can do at this point"... Curiously, when I take the wheels off to install my winter wheels/tires combo, all of a sudden, the problem goes away! Claude.
  13. I asked LMS not to disable the start/stop feature as I prefer turning it on/off myself via the console-mounted switch. If it's automatically turned off because of the tune, there's no way to turn it on even if you press the switch. Claude
  14. I agree...and I would add that the total cost of all the needed modifications to do such a swap will largely exceed the value of the whole vehicle... so not to burst your bubble but I think it's not worth it, sorry. Claude. P.S: Also don't forget that because of all the mods, the value of the vehicle could be much lower if one day you want to sell it.
  15. I could be wrong but I think that ORANGE is for GM vehicles... but not Ford. Claude.
  16. If there is no other damage to the vehicle, trial-fit the replacement fender, after that remove it and have it painted separately. Then re-install it back on the car and be done with it. good luck, Claude. P.S: Sorry, I don't know about the mounting points...
  17. Your best and most logical solution is definitely what "mr_jason" did which "omar" posted a few posts back. Claude.
  18. Yes, this happened to me. Have the camera replaced at the dealer. Claude
  19. The only thing I can think of is to take it to the dealer and ask them to look at it. Good luck, Claude.
  20. The main difference between a chip and a tuner is that the chip has a "fixed" program in it. There are good ones and some others not as good. You plug the chip in and you have to live with the parameters that are built in it without any possibility to do changes to the program. By comparison, a tuner (depending on which one you have) can have several already made tunes stored in it and you can choose which tune you want to download. And last, some more advanced programmers will let you to change the parameters yourself but you better have more knowledge, some basic tuning skills and know what you're doing so you won't do something bad (like going too lean) that could hurt the engine. I myself bought a Livernois Motorsports tuner for my '19 (for which Livernois sends you some tunes which you download yourself in it, and then transfer them to your vehicle's computer) and although it's not too bad, I have mixed feelings about it. It does a little improvement but far from what I was expecting for the price I paid. Claude. P.S: ... and like "akirby" said, "you get what you pay for" .
  21. This problem is more likely to appear on the newer generation of Edges (2015 and up) because the older ones (2006-2014) had a "one-piece" wheel opening vs. the newer ones on which both rear doors are part of the wheel opening. Road debris thrown by the rear wheels can collect there and rust could form after a while especially in parts of the country which have more dampness (slush and snow). Claude.
