  1. I just bought some winter tires for my '16 Titanium but I kept the original size (P245-50-20). (I already have 22's for summer time)... Claude.
  2. Well i guess I must be among the "lucky" ones as the paint on my '16 titanium looks great, absolutely nothing to complain about! Claude.
  3. Did any of you guys tried the "plug-and-play performance chip" advertised at the top of the pages of this site? Is it any good or is it a waste of money? Claude. --> This thing here:
  4. I think that if you just took delivery of your new Edge, very likely it doesn't need to be clay bared, waxed nor sealed yet... About the bumper protector, just do like I did and ask the dealer to install it for you… Claude.
  5. Thanks for the comment! Claude.
  6. I don't know if you saw the pictures but I did put some 22's on my '16 Edge but without any adapters, they're direct fit. Some people like them some don't. It's a matter of taste I guess. See the link below... LINK: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/22344-finally-bought-some-22-wheels-for-my-edge/ Claude.
  7. That is the exact reason why I went with OEM wheels. Claude.
  8. The strips at the bottom of the doors are original on the MKX (but not on the Edge). I added the vertical ones on the door posts as well as chrome mirrors covers. (I bought the mirror covers at the Ford dealer). Claude.
  9. Thanks! The color is "Kona Blue" (code L6). Claude.
  10. I just bought some used original 22" wheels for my girlfriend's 2011 MKX. It had aftermarket 22"wheels before them but they didn't have enough rear spacing causing the wheels to stick out of the body which I didn't like. Now with factory wheels, they are flush with the body. What do you guys think?...Look good or not? Claude.
  11. My father-in-law's MKX had the same problem. It seems like if it's one of those "bad spots" where rust forms… He had it "fixed" at a body shop last year and it still looks ok today but only time will tell ...
  12. Well I see you guys aren't much into anything that's custom…but it's ok, no offense taken. Claude.
  13. How can adding wheel spacers make the car ride better?? I don't get it... Claude.
  14. If the overall diameter is the same, then no need for reprogramming anything. Claude.
  15. The same thing happened to my girlfriend's '11 MKX. I had to have replace both half shafts because the ABS brake reluctor ring broke and isn't sold separately. The manufacturers choose to build stuff like that for one simple reason: to sell more parts. and "macbwt" said: "I would suggest a used Mercedes or BMW. I hear they are pretty much trouble free." Ha!…That's what you think heh?… Well you'll be in for a BIG of a surprise when the time comes to replace something on them!… Just wait and see! Claude.
  16. Ok thanks!… I'll try that. Claude.
  17. Thanks Mike for your reply…However, I still wonder what happens if I plug in TWO usb flash drives?…Will the Sony system display the two of them or only one…or play tunes from both randomly?? Claude. P.S: I'm "old school" and still use the phone's charger plugged into the lighter socket...
  18. In my '16 titanium, there are not one but two usb ports. I tried playing music from a flash drive and both seemed to work the same. 1° I was wondering what's the use for TWO of them? 2° What happens if I use two flash drives? I don't know if I can charge a phone with them but when I do, I use the charger which comes with the phone and plug it into the 12v. outlets (cigarette lighter type outlets) Claude.
  19. Aren't we supposed to change oil after a given amount of miles??…Then seems to me that a "mileage counter" is all it takes to keep track of the distance travelled between oil changes….no rocket science here. Claude.
