  1. No but I find it too much trouble doing this for the little improvement it provides. To me the stock dash is plenty good . Claude.
  2. I've had my hood, headlights, bumper and fender tips wrapped with a clear protective film. I find it much better than any added-on hood deflector. Claude.
  3. Finally done!… Here are pics…sorry for the quality… I like it because it kinda "extends" the console's gloss black finish all the way to the top of the dash. Looks factory installed. Claude.
  4. YES. and Sorry to say but yes it is THE solution. You got a better idea? Claude.
  5. Nope. I have a small car wash business and I use a good old chammy. Claude.
  6. I asked about this a while ago but haven't got any clear reply…only a reply about "forscan" whatever that is… Maybe I should ask my dealer … I suppose they should know...
  7. A what?… …I guess that answers your question about my computer skills!... Claude.
  8. Is it something I can do myself or is it only for the computer savvy guys? Claude.
  9. "Forscan" ??… …Never heard of that. What is it exactly? Claude.
  10. --> speaking of that…is there a way to disable the horn feature when exiting the car with the engine running and the key in my pocket? I hate it when I have to get out of the car for whatever reason and the horn blows!... Claude.
  11. I've been rustproofing all my vehicles for years with an oil-based stuff which gets into every nook and cranny and never had any rust problem. Works great and is a good investment if you intend to keep your car for a long time. There are several companies here in Canada who specialize in these kinds of rustproofing treatments. Claude.
  12. About two months ago, my girlfriend had a similar problem with her '11 MKX and the problem was indeed the brake booster. The dealer replaced it at no cost. All is well now. Claude.
  13. Thanks Nick, I appreciate. Claude.
  14. I'm in the process of shopping for some custom wheels for my '16 Edge and I saw on several wheel sites that it seems the bolt pattern has changed from 5X113 (up to '14) to 5X108 ('15 and later)… Just so I can be 100% sure, can someone confirm this please? Thanks! Claude.
  15. I think it's Bluetooth version BT 3.0 … I didn't even know it could be updated! …Really?... Claude.
  16. Thanks for the replies…but instead of laughing or just saying "no", how about some suggestions?… ...that would be a little more helpful. Claude.
  17. Yeah… I'm starting to think that it's my phone that might not be compatible… Too bad 'cause I like my new Edge and I also like my "old" phone…I guess I can't have both unless I keep my phone and use it without connecting it to the Sync... Claude.
  18. Now that I showed you my girlfriend's MKX (previous post), I'm trying to find some custom wheels for my '16 Edge but there are soooo many choices…! Personally, I like a little bling… Something like this: http://www.amaniforged.com/nino-w-11352.htm Nice or not? Claude.
  19. I put some 22"s on my girlfriend' '11 MKX. Very pleased with them. I went with the same tire size as the Edge Sport model... Claude.
  20. In my 2016 Edge, I wonder if the dealer could delete the "Sync 3" system and download the regular (previous Sync, not sure how it's called) so I could use my phone with it? I'm asking because I cannot get my phone to work with that s**t Sync 3. Curiously, my phone did work fine in my '11 MKX... Thanks, Claude.
  21. It's not really because I have to delete them…but I liked having that option in my previous vehicle. and My phone is a Sonim XP 5520 which worked fine in my '11 MKX.
  22. I've had my '16 Edge for 6 months now and I can't help but really HATE the SYNC 3 system! I was never able to make my phone properly with it and neither the dealer. Also there no easy to erase old addresses from the "Previous Adresses" menu, etc… Funny but the older SYNC in my '11 MKX was much more user friendly, my phone used to work in it and I could erase previous addresses as often as I wanted. I find it a big step backwards, not an improvement from the first generation SYNC! Claude.
  23. There wasn't any on my '16 when I bought it so I just had the dealer install an original one. Fits perfect and doesn't look "added-on" Claude.
  24. I ordered only the pieces I showed in the initial post and am waiting for them to come in. I'll post some pictures when they're installed. I didn't want to buy a whole kit because they include so many parts that if you install all of them, it looks too obvious that they've been added-on. I just wanted to do the center console... Claude.
