Our Husky Liner fits great in the back. I know, not what you asked for, but, my 2 cents.

I own a Mobile Detailing Company and I use de-ionized water as well...I have 2 4ft (1 Canion and 1 Anion) tanks in my garage and use my irrigation (well) water to run through it. My well water has much less TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) than the city water. Jacksonville is somewhere around number 5 for the worst water in America. I will never dry another car and you're right, you can wash your Edge in 15mins because you don't have to dry. No smears, scratches or streaks!

I'm not an ASE or anything, but, in the "older days", a pedal sticking would have been caused by a stuck cable, carb problem, etc.. easy fix...but the brake would have only slowed down the car and not overridden the gas. In so many of today's cars, throttle "by wire" is how it's done...and when a computer controls everything in the car (and computers do crash and go on the fritz) then these kinds of problems can arise. From what I understand, our Edges have a brake override. If the ECUs in the 'yotas were told to accelerate the car, then it did, apparently overriding any other command that was coming in. It's what we get when we change things from manual to computer controlled.

as stated in another thread, I replaced my master cyl and booster @ 40K miles. master was leaking.....c'mon recall, I'd sure like to get that $600 back.

Ford has really stepped up the past several years!

If you are pressing the gas (or it gets stuck) hitting the brake kills the throttle...like pressing the brake to disengage cruise control

I've had 3 batteries in my 2007 Edge, the last one lasted 4 months...dealer said it had shorted out internally and it happens time to time..PIA tho!!

We tore the whole front end off yes, I replaced all the components in the suspension and it was very quiet after that..the Tokico Blue's had that thing riding like a vette! 5 weeks after allllll that work, a lady in a Kia blows a red light in front of me @ 50 mph

I just paid $621 (incl stupid tax) to have the booster and master cylinder replaced on my 2007. Seems the master was leaking into the booster, destroying it. It would have been $150 more, but we pissed and moaned enough to have that one erased. (The original quote was $580, then the next morning, it went up $150 because we needed a master cyl now)....

Brake Booster hissing? Just browse through the TSB section and make yourself aware of any potential problems. It's a good vehicle and enjoy mine, well, hers..lol

I put a couple of drops of super glue on the velcro and BAM! Quiet....I hate having techs crawl all around in the Edge..if i can solve it, I will.
