  1. But a nice Magnaflow would growl just enough without the Folger's can echo..
  2. I use the Mequiar's Ultimate Compound followed by the Gold Class Wax..either way, the Mrs. could apply makeup using the door as a mirror....glad to see that others care about their ride instead of dropping thousand of dollars to watch the brake dust and love bugs eat it away..
  3. I use Zymol on the paint...I get asked all the time "How do you get your car so shiny?"

    New guy

Should be under warranty. No prob w/ ours (so far)
  5. If you unplug the harness just behind (not under) the spare tire, the sat emblem and option will be removed from your head unit(assuming you have the 6 disc)
  6. UPDATE : The dealer sent an image to Ford's DI dept and they refused to correct. They told my Service Manager that it could have been caused by a chemical that was sprayed on the liner. C'mon, really? The only thing that has ever touched that liner in the past year and a half is water. Filtered, spot-free water at that. Why wouldn't the whole liner be affected if I was incorrectly cleaning it? The liner on the interior side feels water proof, like a backpack. The other side is felt. The Mrs. is NOT happy and will be on the phone w/ Ford tomorrow. $748 to replace....
  7. Anything that you drive in and out of, where a machine does the work. machines leak hydraulic fluid and drip contaminants. Touchless isn't really all that bad, but as we all know, all dirt does not just rinse off. In your situation, it is understandable that you take your Edge to get it cleaned and at least you are keeping it clean. However, nothing beats a good 'ole hand wash and spot-free rinse...use a blower if necessary, but never hand dry.
  8. Never take your Edge (or any car) through a tunnel wash...bad idea.
  9. 16 mpg hwy? That's awfully low...
  10. The audiophile sysem w/ sub isn't too bad, but if you love music, you'll wanna upgrade. It's pretty quiet, quieter than a RX350.
  11. You'll love it. Faster and quieter than the RX.
  12. I have the stick on ones from Ebay. Good appearance for the price. I am satisfied as they show no signs of bubbling or pitting. Pretty solid 3M grip. I would really like to have the real MKX ones. ..and they're real easy to apply.
  13. The clicking sound usually means the motor/mirror is too far extened in a certain direction or its trying to move but is being held by something. It moves fine when you use the joystick?
  14. I'll have to stand on the rear tire and look down from the top. I don't think the heat would have done it, although the temp in the sun right now, as I type, is 109.8. I agree that it is an odd shape for "flaking" material. It would be nearly impossible for someone to do that to the back side of that shade..so being covered under warranty should not be a problem. If they do give me a problem, well, they won't.
  15. she'd have to be quick and crafty, as far as I could tell, it was on the side that faces the fixed roof!
  16. Usually, a ST suspension is a little lower and/or stiffer than the standard. This allows for better cornering, less body roll, etc...
  17. My daughter noticed this "hole" in the upperside BAMR shade material today. Anyone seen/had/have this?
