  1. Ill live with it, I dont want to start playing around with the computer
  2. I've gone through all the menu items (I think) and can't seem to find the setting to keep the horn from chirping twice when you close either front door with the fob outside the vehicle. Is this possible turn off? Thank you Lenny

  4. Just continuing this from the other thread, So the heating portion of the seats seam to work fine. The cooling portion, not so much. Is the heat delivered by air or heating elements? I hear a blower come on when I use cooling but not with heat even though they get warm. It's been mentioned that the cooling sucks on the 2017 and there might be a TSB, does anyone know the number? Now that it's cold out I won't need cooling till the spring. I just want to be prepared for the warm weather. (It can't come soon enough!) Thanks Lenny
  5. You mention the cooling seats, it's funny, using mine over the summer I kind of thought they worked like crap. Not much cold air. I drove a Lincoln MKZ as a rental, I think it was a 2014 or 2015 and they had much more air flow. Lenny My Edge is a 2017 Titaniam
  6. The camera I ordered needs constant power and switched power. I ordered a couple of micro fuse taps. I'll keep you posted
  7. Please let me know where you get the fuse tap from. I haven't been able to find the micro size, just the mini.
  8. It showed a fuel gage. Lately I haven't been able to get it to work. I really haven't played around to much since it really doesn't do much for me.
  9. Wiring advice for a dash camera? I am installing one up by the rear view mirror on my 2017 Titaniam with the moon roof. (I'm assuming the 2015 & 2016 are the same) would there be a constant and switched power under the overhead consol? If so would anyone have a wiring diagram and know how to remove it? Or should I try to get the cables down the A Pillad and a cross the dash to get them to the fuse panel. I do not want to see any wires at all. thanks in advance
  10. I did a quick Google comparing H9 to H11. It looks like the H9s are 65watt vs the 55watt for the stock H11s.Two questions, 1- would the higher wattage play nice with the wiring and the computer? 2- Would the higher wattage damage the reflectors? I don't want any problems with warranty issues and a quick online price check for the reflectors show they are very pricy...
  11. I just logged in. Nothing on my 2017 Titaniam yet
  12. https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/news/2017/03/02/ford-issues-safety-compliance-recall-in-north-america.html 32,000 sounds like a low number considering it covers October 2015 to February 2017
  13. Thank you! I was wondering how they test the vehicles before delivery. If I may expand a bit, are the engines ran at the engine assembly plant for testing or do they use a different method? Sorry, I'm just curious person.....
  14. I had my 2017 3.5 L for one month and just hit 1000 miles. I've been breaking it in just as the owners manual says, varying speed and rpms. Now that it has 1000 miles on it, is it broken in? Is is safe to floor it? I've been curious to see how the power feels compared to my previous 2.0 EchoBoost Escape. Should I have the first oil change done now? Or just wait till the normal (for me) 3000 miles.
  15. That I have to agree with. The light does nothing. I'm guessing it's because of the vista roof. My 2013 Escape was exactly the same. Dark
  16. What did you use for them tire shine? Looks nice.
  17. That was my second color choice, I'm really glad I got the Velvet Burgundy, I get lots of complements
  18. I agree, I was kind of surprised myself that the 2017 Edge Titaniam was one of the vehicles it wasn't included in. It would not have been a deal breaker, just kind of neat to have. Maybe if the price isn't ridiculous, I'll give one of these a try when they become available. http://www.autonews.com/article/20170127/OEM06/170129862/ford-aftermarket-device-will-boost-connectivity-in-older-models
  19. Thanks again! I actually read the PDF, but did not see PTU mentioned in the trany part. I assumed transfer cases was the same. You know what they say when you "assume" Maybe I'll think of purchasing a Ford ESP in a couple of years if I decide to keep it for awhile. I do like to change things up, so we'll see what's out at that time. Thank you
  20. Thank you. What does Ford call the PTU's? Reading over the powertrain warranty I don't see them listed by that name.
