I ordered a 2017 Titaniam V6 Burgundy Velvet on 10/20/16 Any idea when I might expect delivery? I'm getting very anxious, I know it's only a few days but I can't wait. LOL

I just ordered a 2017 with a V6, I was concerned with carbon build up and no ford approved way to clean it on the ech boosts.

What would this cost to replace if out of warranty? Just wondering

My 2013 Escape did the same thing, dealer said if it was APIM it would be covered under warranty. I dropped it off and got a call And was told it wa the APIM but it had to be ordered. When it came In the dealer changed the APIM, they called me and said its still dead and needed it another day while they waited for Ford tech to get back to them. They called me again today and told me its still not working after doing the advice giving to them by Ford And wanted to keep it another day, they have another call in to them. After that they Said the screen is bad. 3 or 4 days out and about $1100.00. The final results with my, MyFord touch. After 30 days it's finally fixed. Screen was order then not ordered but finally it came in and installed. It ended up costing me $600.00, dealer said it was less and they knocked off $200.00 on there end in good will. I'm thinking of sending a letter to Ford custome relations and see what happens, especially since the APIM had the warranty extended and that and the screen died.

I thought I posted, can't find it. Sorry if I did already. I know this is old. But maybe some one can give me advice. My 2013 Escape with MyFord Touch and Nav just died. Black screen and nothing at all works. The vehicle is out of warranty by time not mileage. 3 years 5 months and 34000 miles on it. I took it to the dealer, and after testing told me the APIM was bad and the touch screen tested good. The APIM had the extended warranty on it so I should be good. Well after installing the new APIM the system still was still dead. They called Ford for advice, and now there saying that the touch screen is bad as well and that is not covered. They quoted me a price (Expencive), I told them to go ahaid and make the repair, what else can I do. They did contact Ford on my behalf about helping with the repair, but that was a no go. The repair is scheduled for next week. I was wondering if any one knows of anything else I could try? I've already tried pulling the negative battery cable. It just seems odd that the APIM would go bad and they would change it then they say the touch screen is bad. Not a happy camper. I've already looked at the 2016 Edge but I'm holding off till 2017 so I can get the Blue jean matalic paint that will be avalable in 2017. Might have to look at the GMC version of the Chevy Equinox. My 2013 Escape Titanium just turned 3 years old and now I am ready for another Edge (had a 2008 prior to the Escape) I've been checking the build my Edge on the Ford Web Site, but the 2015 model year is the only option. Any idea when I can order a 2016? I like the 2015, but really want the sync 3 and front camera. I like my gadgets..... Thank you Lenny

Yes, it looks like a will be waiting for the 2016 also. Hopefully it will be out in the fall of 2015

Hi all, I went from a 2008 Edge that I loved to a 2013 Escape that I liked. I'm looking at the 2015 Edge, the only thing holding me make is the info system. It looks like the new 2015 Edge is using the same technology as my Escape, it works good enough but has problems. It is updated to the latest version. I've read Ford is replacing this system with a new one, I was wondering if the old system they are using in the 2015 Edge will be upgraded? It seems the Ford has abanded the system in my 2013 (no updates in over a year) and I would hate to have a end of life system installed in my new 2015 limited Edge. Any input would be great. It seems the push button start is only avalable on the SE model?? Am I missing it only the other models?

I checked to see if my refrigerator light is on with the door closed by climbing in and closing the door years ago. Lol

The dealer did the update and swaped out the Nav card with the new one. I did a master reset before I dropped it off and after I picked it up. Some stuff seems better, quicker touch touch screen, faster switching between audio sources. The bugs so far. When hitting the voice button, long pauses between pushing the button and the chime to speak, and a delay in responding. The phone gets stuck on. (No radio and the volume control says adjusting phone volume) this is happening even though the phone it self is not connected. When ever i get in the car, the music sources changes from what it was on the last time, to either fm, satellite and USB. Some times using audio commands to change the climate tempature doesn't work. (She confirms the command, it just doesn't physically change the temperature). Right now, none of that matters, the car just died and was towed to the dealer. Have to wait till Monday to see what happened. Hopefully they find something.

Ugh! I should have left well enough alone! Only had the update 3 days and have had more problems in these 3 days than I had in 4 months with 3.2.2. And yes I did a master reset.

After a couple days, the incoming messages work as long as I don't reply from my phone or send one from my phone. After that MFT stops recieving them until my next reconnect. O-Well..... Any one else?

I got it to work. After I turned it on, I tried texting myself and it still did not work. Then out of the blue while driving, I recieved a text. It doesn't work every time though, but it's a start. When it does work, Its pretty nice. Thanks everyone...

Okay, I know this has been talked about and I've read people have goten it to partially work. I can not get mine to work. From what I've read, it's says to: On the iPhone go to settings, then to Bluetooth, then click on SYNC, then set " show notifications" to on. That's where I have problems, that setting is not there on my phone. Any idea what I'm missing? Thank You Lenny

Should I pull the old Nav card out before the update?

I having my 13 Escape with Nav updated to the latest version tomorow, how has this update gone for others? I know mines an escape and this is for edge, but just trying to get a feel. Also is there anything I should do to the system before dropong it off eith the dealer? Thank You Lenny

I have a 2013 Titaniam Escape. I was wondering how the 2013 Edge remote starter operates? Can someone verify the operation for me? When I park, I get out and lock the car. When I try to start the car by hitting the button twice on the remote, nothing happens. When I hit the lock button then hit the start button twice it starts up. Keep in mind that the car is already locked. The owners manual says the car needs to be locked, not that you have to hit the lock button prior to the start buttons. If there all that way, I'm okay with it. I just want to be sure everything is working normal. Thanks Lenny
