I bought the 3.5 because I had concerns with the EchoBoost and carbon build up issues. Oh well........I wonder if there's a low water sensor in the coolant sump that would give a little advance notice? Would this be covered under the 5/60 powertrain warranty?

Nothing in particular, the Ford web site was pushing the Ford Pass App so I downloaded it. It's kind of useless for me, the only thing it does when you connect your phone is tell you how much gas you have. I thought you would be able to run a health report or something. No big deal

Thanks, now I feel dumb..... lol. I actually tried apple car play, but I prefer the sync 3 instead (for me anyway). I hate having to connect by cable.

I ordered the 2017 for the Burgundy Velvet Metallic color. This was not available in previous years. It really looks sharp.

Just a queston, I have about 500 miles on my three week old edge naturally aspirated 3.5 L V6. I plan on using top tier fuel, but I always don't have access to it. Would it be very detrimental to use NON top tier fuel every once and awhile? Say maybe every 3 tanks or so. Thanks Lenny

Your correct! I'm an idiot, I failed to push the rear defrost button, that would explain the lack of the ice melting off the mirrors. You would think I would have remembered that coming from a 2013 Titaniam Excape......

Another stupid queston. Are heated mirrors available in any package? I didn't see it listed in the cold weather package.I had some frost this morning and noticed I didn't have them on the Titaniam. No biggy, just thought it was kind of odd. Kind of like the lack of a hood light or fog lights.

I'll try and look (without ripping the insulation) if it warms up later.

Thanks, I ended up getting it to work but It's just kind of useless for me since the Edge doesn't have the modem and those are the things I wanted to use.

Just popped the hood to check the oil and noticed no hood light. Found that odd on a Titaniam. There is a wire that runs up under the sound proofing on the hood, not sure what that's for, I'll guessing the vehicle alarm. Does anyone have a light?

My 2013 Escape Titaniam was Tuxedo Black. I liked it! Yes it looked sharp clean. Was in the car wash a lot.

Thank you, that was the first time that happened. I'll try the reset and see if it happens again. It was just discouraging with just 100 miles on the vehicle. I had lots of issues on my 1013 Titaninam Escape with My Ford Touch and was hoping those days were in the past. I'll keep you posted Lenny

My week old 2017 with Sync 3 while listening to music on a flash drive froze, the music was skipping like a scratched record and nothing worked. Then the system rebooted on its own about a minute later and every thing was back to normal. I had these things happen in my 2013 with my ford touch. I was hoping those issues were in the past. I really hope this is not going to be an issue. I can deal with things breaking, but the unable to duplicate gets to me Thanks

Hi, I Custom ordered my Edge around 10/15/16. It was built on 12/12/16 and I took delivery on 12/30/16.

Can you point me to the information on the redesign PTU? My 2008 AWD had PTU issues and I'm hoping those have been worked out with my 2017 AWD.

That's a good question?? I know I can check for updates by wifi. How else would I know? I just tried again, I disabled Apple car play in the cars setting. I did get it to recognize it, when I touch the icon it opens up with the FordPass logo and a more options button. Hitting more options just brings up a disconnect FordPass. That's it no other options, so I'm not really sure what the app is for. I guess there's no more health report, not that I used it that much in the Escape with my ford touch Any other tips you can share on the sync 3 would be greatly appreciated One more edit.. Sorry It looks like the 2017 Edge does not have it. 2017 Escape, Fuson and F150 does. SYNC® Connect, an optional feature on select 2017 model year vehicles, is required for certain features. Lenny

Thank you. I was curious if it was still there and I just can't find it. The only queston I have is with the FordPass App. I have it downloaded on my iPhone 6 and I'm signed in with my ford owners account. I can't get the car to recognize it, the icon doesn't show. The only thing I can when I plug the phone in to the usb is Apple car play. I have the app open, tried closing it, unplugging and reconnecting the phone. I'm trying to set up vehicle health with the app, but since the car can't find the app I can't do it. It's not a huge deal, I just like those techie things... Lol

Hi, I just picked up my 17 Titanium, ( Pictures will follow) I use to go to the sync my ride website and the owners forums for help and tips. It looks like the sync my ride web sire changed to ford owners or something like that. Anyway, I can not for the life of me find the forums anymore. Am I missing them or are they not there anymore? I have a pretty hood handle on the new sync 3 system, but there are a few things I can't figure out and wanted to post over there. Thanks for your help. Lenny

Just picked up my Edge Titaniam yesterday. For the life of me I can not get Ford Pass to show up on the screen. I've plugged my iPhone 6 into the usb and apple car play pops up and the apps icon is greyed out. I've turned apple play off on the phone and the only apps that show up are travel link. The app on the phone says if the ford pass icon is not there to unplug the phone from the usb and plug it back in and the app should appair. No dice! Does anyone have any advice? Thank you Lenny

Just curious if anyone knows if the 2017 has the Ford Connect? I read the 2017 Escape does but can't seem to find anything on the Edge. I order a 2017 Titaniam and was wondering if it's included in it.
