  1. My Edge Sport has none of those issues except the double honk. I would avoid any “sporty” themed SUVs in the future because they all have terrible mileage and the features you listed. Next vehicle you get make sure it’s a car. Or an eco badged SUV. I drove a few Edge ST’s before I found my ‘15 sport and I honestly hated driving the ST. Many of the same gripes you had for sure. The Sport drove better, responded better, and overall just felt less gimmicky. Maybe test drive an older Sport if you can find one?
  2. Who cares what people think. People think my eclipse is just a chick car even though it walks Tesla’s on ludicrous mode with a full charge, from a dig. Not to mention the v8 guys and their “ricer” talk. You do you. Let others hate. Although the ST is kinda a soccer mom SUV. The sports however…. ?
  3. I’ve never even heard of it tbh. I wouldn’t try to go out of the box in this one(and I love going out of the box) and just grab either an MPVI-2 if you plan on going unleashed, or just grab the my calibrator touch if you want to go livernois motorsports.
  4. I've got Dragy runs of 0-60 in 4.80 on 93 on a non prepped surface. Full weight 2015 edge sport, 245 tiger paws(total joke for traction) and 38psi on all four tires(lower tire pressure would be better traction). LMS ftw. But then again mine is a sport and doesn’t have the junk 8 speed in it or the shifting problems you ST guys have to deal with.
  5. Wonder how them moving their entire production to Mexico is gonna effect things too.
  6. If you lived closer I would for sure. I actually really enjoyed it. The end result was so worth it.
  7. Welcome. I’d suggest a tune and some nice wide sticky tires(tires first preferably) and if you have e85 around you, go with an e30 blend tune and enjoy your performance. It’ll surprise the hell out of you especially in Florida where it’s almost below sea level in some parts. E30 and an UP intercooler with sticky tires is 12’s all day.
  8. $20 and you pay shipping. ? in all serious PM me with what you’d like to get out of this plus shipping to 27357.
  9. Hey all, wife did some paint correction on her Edge and I just finished it/went behind her to get a few spots a little cleaner/smoother. Overall for her first time and my first time I think it came out great. The “before” pics kinda suck because I’m terrible at photos and I didn’t want to get too close because the paint was so bad. Water spots, swirls, scratches, etc. now it’s like glass. Love this tuxedo black, you can see the metal flake so much more after the correction. used a TorqX DA, hexlogic 5.5” Orange pad for cutting, white pad for polishing. She used the mequiars ultimate cutting and polishing compound, and it worked good but I noticed there were still swirls left and it didn’t quite look cut enough, so I went behind her with the same pads using meguiars 101 and 201 compound and polishes and man. It made all the difference in the world. It was so easy to do, and I think you’d have to purposefully try to ruin the paint with this combo before it would burn. Took me awhile in my super cramped garage but totally worth it! Finished it off by graphene coating it. Before Not bad but a little dull as you can tell. After: Might be hard to tell in the last two pictures because the sun wasn’t out, but it’s so much better now. Very happy!
  10. Not 0-60, 60 foot times. Drag racing. and not my real world experience.
  11. Depending on what year Sport you drove, you probably remember it being faster because the 2015’s are lighter and faster than the ST. As far as launches though, in stock form they launch okay, but not world beating at all. With a tune on my 2015 with 245’s, traction is a joke. If I had traction I absolutely could launch hard. 1.7-1.8 60 foot times easy.
  12. Tunes adjust the air fuel ratio too, especially for higher ethanol concentrations. This can actually lead to increased MPG, not just power increase! And honestly if you’re tuned and worried about warranty, do what I did and just mention that your battery died and had to be replaced. This will explain the key cycles being super low and they’ll never suspect otherwise. Worked for me and my dealership. ?
  13. I took my edge in April to get the RDU replaced, and while they had it they performed the brake line recall without me having to ask them to. Previous to this I had called another Ford dealer who said they didn’t have the parts and would let me know when they got it. I still haven’t been called by them. Take that however you want, but I wonder if they have the parts and just don’t think it’s worth their time to do the recall? IDK. I was pleased they did it though. Along with the steering bolt recall.
  14. Slight update. Never got to go to the track yet with the stage 3 or stage 4 stuff. I did manage to find a good road for 0-60 use and tested the stage IV 93 octane tune. I got what I’d consider a decent launch but still heavily, HEAVILY feathering it... and well, results speak for themselves. Not bad! Stock intercooler, 245 all season tiger paws, full weight, yadda yadda yadda. Can’t wait to try it out with some new much wider stickier tires, and the ultimate performance intercooler! I will eventually get back to the track to try out the old stage 3 E30 tune and the stage 4 93 tunes. Thought some would appreciate at least some hard numbers. EDIT: Oh I forgot to mention I did go to the track on the stage IV E30 tune and this was my best time. Dragy said like 8.63 actual time slip reads as pictured. I ran it all the way out to a 1/4 and dragy said 13.6 or so. I’m gonna post another dragy SS that shows the stage 3 E30 tune later that same night. my conclusion so far is honestly for stock intercooler, stick with the stage 3 E30 tune. Stage 4 is for people with the upgraded intercooler.
  15. Huge difference. If you look at a similarly modded F150 with the 2.7L they cut vastly superior 60’ times and do way better 0-60 than we do. RWD bias AWD systems are the truth.
  16. not the oem snorkel, I mean the after market design that extends it into the grill area infront of the radiator. this thing. https://www.velossatechdesign.com/products/2018-2019-ford-edge-st-ram-air-big-mouth-w-flare-intake-snorkel?variant=30288825712697&currency=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&utm_campaign=gs-2021-03-17&utm_source=google&utm_medium=smart_campaign I’m about ready to buy it anyway but I really don’t want to delete my AGS on the radiator. So what I meant was can you make something like this that clips onto the stock snorkel and extends to the top two shudders on the OEM AGS. I’d be way more willing to delete a couple shudders instead of the whole thing. I may just rig something up myself but it won’t be pretty.
  17. Honestly incredible. Seriously though, planning to do a snorkel too? Something like the big mouth snorkel but designed to work with your v1/v2 lid? If you could design it to snap in place of the drivers side top few AGS shudders that would be amazing!
  18. Ah okay. I’ve got family in Atmore, so was curious. North AL is good too, don’t think y’all have Whataburger up there though.
