You have to change a setting in the left side menu to unlock all doors.

My mom got an Equinox 6 months after I got my Edge, and you can definitely tell the price difference in the interior. Beyond my dislike of Chevy, I just don't like my mom's car. I would rather drive my friends KIA than the equinox.

If any of your interior lights are on, your headlights are on. Kind of a crappy way to tell, but it works.

I have gotten 26mpg in the summer doing between 55 - 65 with cruise set. I was pretty dang impressed when I did it. I had to be really good about not passing which is killer to mpg.

That is kind of a bummer for people who got the cars early. I have had mine since September 10 and already over 20k miles.

All of our sunroofs have had a bit of a rattle on really cold icy days. opening and closing it works. Hubby says it is ice. Don't really know.

They have said that all along - new SD card if your car came with Navigation.

If your system is working fine - you may not want to upgrade to the newer version. The re-write is coming "soon", but the old saying of if it isn't broke - don't fix it, is very true with this system. Good luck.

We are having our first decent weather this winter. Granted it is actually just a smidge to warm and so all of our snow is trying to melt and causing some major problems. Oh so much fun. Someday it will be time to move somewhere warm.... counting the days.

Yes, I would prefer they get rid of the one on the driver side, but it always seemed redundant to have two. I will just go back to having to ask what the temp is like I do in our truck, not a big deal.

I can work any of the buttons and the screen with gloves on - some pretty heavy ones too. What buttons are you saying don't work with gloves?

Glad to see that they are removing one of the outside temp readings. I have found that once you are into negative temps they vary by a degree. We figure one has a -0 figured into the code. Kind of funny in a way.

Great feed back! My mom got an Equinox just after I got my Edge, so every time I ride with her, I appreciate mine, even the MFT. Her system is even harder to work. It doesn't seem to have the glitches, but have to reset your ipod to shuffle every time you change playlist, screen is hard to look at (reminds me of a dot matrix). Her auto seats you have to push and hold the button for it to move to the programmed spot. All in all - I will take my ford over her chevy anyday!

I think you have to be at least on 2.7 to do it - at least that is what I remember the rep on fb telling me. I am still waiting till the 3.0 comes out and will have the dealership do it all themselves. No reason for me to mess mine up now.

I have 20k miles on my 2011 limited and I love it! MFT is just like Vista to me - It works if you slow down - don't think it will work like your i devices and you should be good.

I personally don't like the new escape, so that wouldn't be an option. Just seems more like that is the "cheaper" line for fords. If you like the car and it is the right size for your family and needs, then what is wrong with having the same car. Especially the changes from the 08 to the 12 are huge.

Hope it is an easy fix - maybe just a bad heater wire in that spot? Mine has worked great through an already long winter. Lots of use.

Glad to see someone else is getting some winter. Our snow snap is on hold until the cold snap goes a way. I would much rather the snow than have this negative temps. I have always put studs on my cars until the Edge and really feeling very confident with not having them. We always have the truck that we can drive if conditions got too bad.

Winter tires still sound funny to me - Seems to me the trend in AK is to either stick with good all weather tires or get studs. Which I am guessing are your winter tires with spikes. I am running the all weather that came with my car and they work great. I haven't had any problems getting going that you wouldn't have with any tires - or stopping either. I do have the 18's, which if I had the 22's, I would probably something different for winter.
