whiteis33 Posted October 30, 2012 Report Share Posted October 30, 2012 (edited) I did a few lights over the last few weeks for members on here. first is a Lincoln MKX member cyle12345 Blacked out housings with Lincoln Insignia with RGB angel eyes Second is a Ford Edge Sport They wanted a stock chrome housing with halos and a LED strip on the bottom Another set of lights I did for quick51 more pictures to come stay tuned for more projects! The Halos look nice. +1 on the LED brightness. If those were brighter it would be very nice! I do love the halos I can put brighter LEDs in but the customer wanted some that couldnt be seen and also wanted it to run the whole bottom of the light. Rondo1 Posted January 3, 2013 Report Share Posted January 3, 2013 Hey guys, maybe you can help me out here as well. I just bought a (new to me) 2011 Ford Edge SPORT last week. Unfortunately I made a stupid mistake and didn't realize that the car didn't have HID lights. So I just have halogens. :-( Oh well. But I want to replace the crappy OEM bulb with something like the PIAA Xtreme Whites. But weirdly enough PIAA has bulbs for the 2007-2010 and the 2012-2013. Yay! 2011 is absent. Anyone here know why this is? Is the H/L headlight bulb in the 2011 really different than the 2007-2010 and 2012-2013? I'm hoping you experts here will know. Yes I've narrowed it down to the HIR2 or the 9012, but I can't seem to find this bulb in any of the "extra white" type bulbs. The stock halogen bulbs are insanely inadequate if you ask me. Can anyone tell me if they've updated their headlight bulbs to one of the "extra white" bulbs, and if so, what brand, model were the bulbs? The Limited model comes stock with HIDs, not sure why they wouldn't put HIDs stock on there top of the line Sport model.
