rsucre Posted April 7, 2013 Report Share Posted April 7, 2013 (edited) Hi. I would like to know what version of VCM works with Ford Edge 2013. Information on the web makes me think that some VCMs only work with models up to 2012. I need VCM and IDS software in order to activate the remote start function. The only local dealer charges too much for activating the function, so I'm considering if I should buy a used VCM and do it myself. Then I can keep it for future diagnostics or sell it. I actually went to a shop with VCM (older version) that could not establish the connection with my car. Now I know that it may be due to older version of IDS.
