Edge1911
Howdy! Got a new 2013 Edge a couple of months ago and am looking into getting a hitch installed. Dealer wants over 1k to install a "hidden" hitch. Anyone have a U-Haul hitch installed or other aftermarket? Looking for options other than the dealer. candurin
I installed this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004R2ZW3M/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Took me 30 minutes or so (maybe less). Here's a great write up: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/10789-draw-tite-install-on-my-2012-edge/ I did not connect a wiring harness.
Tacyon
I can atest to the quality of Draw-tite. My kid brother worked at a place that believe it or not, that was all they did, installed trainer hitches .. He reported that draw-tite consistently had the highest quality hardware. krazykanuck
What is the tab used for on the Draw-Tite hitch? Is this where we'd attach wiring harness to??
factor99
What is the tab used for on the Draw-Tite hitch? Is this where we'd attach wiring harness to?? Yes. Also, if you look at them you will find that the Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch and Reese are all the same Cequent hitch. krazykanuck
Thanks. I took advantage and ordered a Draw-Tite from AutoAnything last night. With their coupons it was the cheapest I could find!
fledgex
kk, do you have the part number/model number and where did you get coupons? Looking for a hitch and I have read some good comments for the draw-title. Thanks.

Edge1911
After life getting in the way the last few months since my intitial post i'm finally getting a Curt hitch installed next week. I can't do it myself and will be having a local Big Tex Trailer store install it. I had it ordered today along with the wiring harness, etc. Although i don't have an immediate need to tow anything I just like having the option. I need it when i need it, ya know? :-)
