So many little rocks and dumb crap from daily driving. On a pearly white coat you see everything !

Just not in the budget for fresh paint after every winter. Saw clear like big ass screen protector for the front.

Anyone use this before ? Likes dislikes ? I'm devestated when I see a new blemish !

I wish I would have gotten a clear bra installed the day I purchased my Edge. After 60,000 miles mine is pretty beat up. The plastic chrome is what really looks bad so I've been thinking of painting it to match the body color. The front edge of the hood still looks perfect which kinda surprises me.

I used the 3M spray on paint defender last winter. I would never use it on a large surface again. I turns white when it gets wet for long periods of time. I doesnt remove easily either. I had to let it turn white with rain moisture and power wash it off at the car wash. It seems to breakdown over time. It did a good job protecting the front end, but I will never do it again. I did install Husky headlight protectors and they are awesome. Perfectly clear and you absolutly can not tell they are installed. I might install the husky hood protector this fall because I'm so impressed.

I have the invisible bra on mine and they have an appearance package that does the hand cups, back bumper, kick panels. I will take some pictures and post them. After getting mine and opening the doors, there is so much paint there and I wanted to find something to cover it and protect it from heel dragging..also works good from hyper pets that try to jump into the vehicle.

Be very careful of tint shop installations. Many of them seem to think that since they do tint film on flat glass it qualifies them to do clear film on surfaces with multiple curves. I had a 3M clear bra installed at the same place that did my window tint - excellent tint installation, totally botched clear bra installation. I accepted it not knowing any better but over the next few weeks realized what a terrible patchwork job they had done and they were unable to fix despite repeated attempts. So I ended up having a specialist do it all over again and it now looks great! Places that do advertising wraps are a good choice if you don't have a shop nearby that specializes in clear bras.

On white paint you will always be able to see the edges when you're close to the car but it's not a big deal. On dark colors, the clear bra virtually disappears even when you're quite close to the vehicle.

Here are some pictures I took this morning at the office in the parking garage of the appearance package. I will get better ones once I detail the car this weekend.

Thank you so much for posting pictures! It looks great, can hardly see it. Can you tell me where you go it done? A tint shop? A clear protector specialist? Dealership?

Good to know on white paint, but I agree it's less of a big deal than dings/scratches! Also good to know on tint specialists not always being the right choice. I will check DFW for a good wrapping place and call them for a quote!

I had a tint shop here in Spring, TX do it. It was a kit that he ordered. He doesn't have the system to cut it the way I originally wanted it, but I am very happy with it. It has been used more times than I can count and I don't have any scratches to show for it in the paint. I have one scratch in the Front Pass kick panel from my GF's mut, but it did not reach the paint.
