1004ron Posted May 22 Report Share Posted May 22 I use a puck style pinch weld protector on my floor jack positioning it about a foot rearward of the side mirror and lift until both wheels have sufficient clearance and then put the jack stands at the marked jacking points and lower the floor jack. I also have protectors on my jack stands. If I'm working on something like brakes I'll leave the jack in place for backup. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
