countgreen
I'm looking to make my ride somewhat smoother on Michigan's "roads"... I've gotten new tires, Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring as I do a lot of highway driving, (Set is about 1 year old with 3k miles). My car currently has about 50k miles on the OD. I'm looking at getting Monroe OE or KYB Strut-Plus. Not sure what to get or if there are better options out there. Thanks!
omar302
Might want to share your current vehicle details. Model/year/trim and wheel/tire sizes. Sport models and bigger wheels have stiffer rides.

WWWPerfA_ZN0W
either go all OEM or consider airbagging the suspension for customizability. Firmer options are available from KYB and Bilstein, but could get a bit much on choppy roads. Coilovers would fare even worse. I cringe at potholes in our area, even with OEM height suspension. Lowering springs would enhance the driving experience, but not where I am at, and certainly not where you are.
fishx65
I've just learned to live with the stiff ride of my 2011 SEL but I do keep my tires right at 31 PSI which helps quite a bit. Edited April 25, 2021 by fishx65
