Iroga
I wasn't happy with the light in the trunk at all. If the light isn't blocked, then everything is fine. But when it's blocked, it's hard to find anything. The lampshade is inserted into a frame made of textolite. I disassembled the right side of the interior to lower the ceiling. We connect to the rear right light. We place the lantern in the middle, carefully cut it out and insert it. We get the final result. Amedaius
I was very surprised to learn theres no light in the cargo area on the Edge, I actually searched for awhile assuming I just wasn't seeing it, surely it couldn't be there was no lighting at all? Great solution though, I may look into something similar, but I will likely just put in a battery powered light for closets.

Hmmm maybe mine is out or something, I had it open and the cabin lights were on but there was no light in the rear. What in the world were they thinking putting it down there though? Thanks for the info!

edgeidiot Posted yesterday at 06:21 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 06:21 PM Not sure why the link does not work for me. Maybe it is being blocked by Ghostery? I found it on Amazon: Amazon.com: Dynamic Flowing Car Trunk Light Strip, Trunk Led Light Strip,Led Strip Lights for Car Trunk Cargo Area or Interior Illumination Decoration (White,Full Circle 4 m/157 in) : Automotive. It is available for the top half or whole circumference. It is hard wired in through the rear lamp. This one is available in blue, purple, and warm or cool white.
