Thanks for the (sarcastic & patronizing) response. I actually do know how to use a tire pressure gauge, but when the warning light comes on while I am driving down the interstate at 75mph it would be nice to have more info (which tire is low and what the pressure is) so that I know if I ran something over, have a slow leak, and if one of my front tires might be compromised to the point where I should slow down and get to the nearest gas station or garage to get air in it. It actually looks like there is an issue with the 22's holding pressure so I guess I'll have to keep an eye on them. Thanks for the info on the nitrogen too. I'm glad to know I am not being remiss with the care of my wheels.
You, like many of, expected a TPMS that was advanced enough to supply individual tire pressure readings.
Maybe there will be an app that will bring this to SYNC someday.

What these guys said ^
But I think you might also be confusing satellite (Siruis/XM) with HD Radio (FM)
(I could be wrong)

With Z plan it's probably less than $1500 difference. I'd get the Limited, no question.
To me, the Intelligent Access is my favorite feature that I ponied up for. Well worth it if you find yourself carrying many things to your car.
I can't tell you how much time it has saved me regarding fumbling for keys etc when carrying a toddler and laptop etc.
Best part, I lock my door with any body part available (No... I haven't used what you're thinking about... yet)
I usually use my forearm to touch the lock "bump" when I'm holding too many things. My favorite moment must have been with long sleeves and two arms full of stuff, I couldn't lock my door without putting anything down. So I decided to lean down and use my nose. Best way to lock my car EVER.
-
Sounds like an opportunity to upgrade to the Sport Body kit.

I've noticed that in our 2010 Limited AWD but only when driving with the OD off.
Try feathering the brake and a sharp decline. I can feel the car kick down when I do this.
-
Sometimes I get blank screens and sections. Using the voice control to activate that particular "module" seems to kickstart it somehow and it starts working again.

Yeah I tried to keep it semi stock looking but clean. Lowered with KW v3 coilovers and some spacers. Also added exhaust and tint but that was about it. Replacing this with the edge. Need to haul my paddleboards and golf clubs. Although the 650 trunk is huge and can fit 4 full golf bags. There is minimal room for back seat passengers. Plus it's got 70K and is a 06. Had it for 3 years with no major issues and was a great car.
Front sensors are useless as it only activates when in reverse unless you actively hit the button.
Oh.. that sucks about the sensors.
Just drove a 06 Audi A8L, and the sensors on that thing help parking immensely.
-
I did the same thing on my 650i and will be doing it on my white edge sport that is on order. The BMW lights were really delicate to take apart because of the sensors for auto leveling and adaptive HIDs and the angel eyes.
Very nice ride!
I see you blacked out the kidney insert too.
off topic: I wish the Edge had front parking sensors...

Ford uses a tape measure and masking tape to aim them. It's very scientific.
Hey, I do the same thing!

Really nice for paddleboarding where you dont need to carry your keys in a dry bag in board shorts. A;so very handy when tailgating as the first drunk person back to the truck after the game can unlock the car and start the grill again. The sober driver is usually the last one to show up.
That's a good use! I have 3 codes programmed for such occasions.
1) Perm code, only I know this one.
2) Family code, one that everyone can remember in our Family.
3) Friends code, this one is trashable and usually recycled if I give it out to anyone else.
Another good use for the pad, is when you walk by your car on the way back from the trash without your keys. Saves a walk back into the house to look for / grab them.

You mentioned a couple of things I hadn't heard before.
I was previously assuming that the interface would be re-designed as well but it sounds like they are sticking with the current one. That's OK with me. I never had any problems with the layout of the interface.
I can't wait to for the option to update at home.
"Early 2012" can't get here soon enough!
I got second paddle in that canoe.

I just got some of my album art to appear while using USB. I'll have to play around with it more to find out how it really works. (I'm pretty sure it's not in the manual... so don't go there )

All lights in the US have a slight offset to the right. In fact, all countries where traffic stays to the right, lights are aimed that way to 1) not blind opposing traffic, 2) light signs, 3) illuminate potential crossers (human or otherwise)
This is a DOT requirement in the US.
BUT, having said this, only a portion of the beam is offset and the "center" should still be centered. You might need to have the light recalibrated. They should have a machine that can measure and adjust it.

I had a yellow bird poop that resisted washing and seemed like a stain.
I'm going to apply left-over Opti-coat 2.0 from another car to my Edge after I get the yellow bits out.

Bbrown41, tell your dealership that you want two of these: 3U2Z-14S411-BXAB
Darkriff, el concesionario no dice la verdad. No hay un modelo "sport" en Colombia, pero aqui, el "sport" no tiene luces HID, pero tiene luces estacionamientos.
On a side note (irony intended,) anyone notice what the Chinese get that we don't?
That cool vapor color? or the not-so-cool side markers?

I summoned my limited woodworking skills this afternoon for 5 minutes and cut myself a shelf for the console. I used a scrap of masonite and cut a 1 1/2 hole in the leading edge to allow for the wires and fingers.
I've been planning to do this mod, but my list grows and the additions always seem to fall in front of this one in terms of priority.
Mind sharing a pic and sparking some extra inspiration?

Poorboys Wheel Sealant smells so good that I've pondered trying a taste.
I'm scared of some of the smells. I have a 3 year old daughter, and although I've taught her not to drink any of my stuff, Optimum No Rinse smells so good that I felt tempted to swig it myself. I have no idea why.

I have a set of 9011's from my old car I was going to try but I don't think it will happen this weekend with the hurricane coming. They should have 30% more light output but I am concerned that the extra 10W may be an issue and I found these bulbs to make a lot of glare in the last car. The light was fantastic up until you got to a new street sign then it made the sign almost seem light it was lighted. It is a little distracting.
The glare should not be a problem with these projectors as long as the focal length of the 9011 is similar to the 9012.
I don't have the specs in front of me to compare though.

update...it was the cooling fans...$750 repair via my ford dealership as my lincoln one closed, but they offered "goodwill" cash and got it down to $275....very nice
$275 is quite a reasonable price for the fan and labor from a dealer.
(See Allen, I can be nice )

I got the Cover Craft UVS100. It's very sturdy, thick and easy to use. There is allot of windshield on the Edge and I was so glad to finally get it. We have been battling more than 60 (almost consecutive) of well over 100 degree heat and now that I have the shade I am so happy! It fills the windshield area nicely. I have the Edge logo added and it ran me $42. Waited about 3 weeks to get it. A long wait in this heat. There is a huge difference in the interior heat when I get in the car now. I can actually touch the steering wheel and don't jump from a burning seat!!! A little sun gets through the cut out for the rear view mirror but not too much. It has a reflective fabric outer surface and felt fabric interior surface. The foam board is thick and provides good insulation. The edges are stiched with quality. It's acordian style, not roll up which I like. Does not sag. I can put it up and take it down with ease sitting right in my seat. I store in on the floor behind me or in the cargo area. All in all, I am pleased and even though it is more expensive than others, I've spent more buying replacements of cheap sunshades.
That's a nice one! Kinda like mine

thank you both for your answer
thats mean its will be a fatstic color and choice
Yes, it is!

OK that is what I figured. like I said earlier pying 2 more payments won't mean much to me and it would be useful to keep a good relationship with the dealer since they are close to my office. I just wanted to make sure if I paid in 5 months that I wouldn't loss the 1k and be paying interest.
Dingo re-financed all but $400.00 and paid it over 4 months or something to make sure the deal went through.
-
I will be re-doing mine too. Not loving the woodgrain.
Go here and request a pack of samples. Its free and they are large enough each to wrap something small and try it out.
I've been playing around wrapping keys and such. Now, to narrow down my interior choices...
Did I mention it's Free? I've seen people on eBay charging up to $6 for just one sample. This pack comes with about a dozen.

Dude... I wish you were here in Cali or closer.
Sad to see you selling your slotted rotors already. (and Edge too for that matter)
For anyone with the cash, this is a stellar deal seeing as you can't find slotted rotors for our cars yet. At least not a full set.
Good luck with that. If you find someone that just wants the rims and you are willing to part with the rotors only, PM me.
How loud can you go before your speakers distort?

SEL 202A has the most basic 6 speaker system, sadly, even lower quality than the Sony HD unit.
I wouldn't expect much.
