It's a tech website - of course they want all the latest tech, whether you need it or not. I love adaptive cruise at highway speeds but I don't see the benefit of full stop and go.

Horse hockey. The financing was just one piece that was needed to finance the plan. They came up with a plan to restructure the business and used the loans to finance it. That was not luck - far from it. Had they not changed their business model then the loan would not have helped. This is such an urban myth that somehow the only reason GM went bankrupt is they weren't as lucky as Ford - nothing could be further from the truth. Ford made changes - GM didn't. Had GM gotten the same loan that Ford did - they would have still gone bankrupt because they were not changing their business model until BK forced it.

You have to be an employee. I heard they take a pre-production model and drive it on the streets for something like 50K miles before they give the OK to Buy. Sounds like it's right up your alley!

Interestingly I had light interiors in both my vehicles and my wife's vehicles for the last 20 years, so for me black was much more attractive and high end. It really just depends on what you're used to or your personal preferences. I'll stick with black for awhile. But the wife still prefers the lighter interiors.

The center dash speaker isn't just for multi-channel surround sound like a home theater setup. It can be used with a stereo source as well and that's what the built-in surround mode does - converts stereo to multi-channel. I don't like it personally but some do - they were even mad because on some Fords the surround mode defaults to off when you start the vehicle. Home stereos have the same feature. There just isn't enough SACD, DVD-A, DD, DTS or other true digital multi-channel source material to make it worthwhile to support.

Just FYI - you don't need the actual brochure. They put your info into Vincent and it will show up when the dealer puts in the VIN and your info. They should do that check automatically when it looks for incentives, but you could ask them to check it in a couple of weeks.

I had to replace the gas cap on my 06 Fusion at around 5 years. They do fail.
