  1. I can almost guarantee you it's a bad battery.
  2. You need 3 things - GPS signals, Nav software and Map data. My guess is Ford has not chosen to purchase map data for the Middle East (if it's available from their supplier).
  3. Don't do it. It's dangerous to reduce your taillight visibilty even a tiny bit just because it looks cool. You asked.
  4. Send a PM to RobertLane - he manages the forum layout.
  5. That is overkill and not at all necessary, but I'm sure there are a few folks who do it just for fun. As stated though it will only do it automatically when you have cruise control activated and it's used to keep the vehicle at the set speed going downhill or if you're going downhill and you tap the brakes - it assumes you want to slow down and will downshift to assist.
  6. Reminds me of the guy who bought a chainsaw and brought it back to the store the next day. He complained that it just wasn't cutting very well. The store employee takes it outside, fills it with gas/oil and starts it up. The customer says "hey - what's that noise?".
  7. When does a Ford vehicle downshift when you slow down or are on an off ramp?
  8. And the most frequently used controls while driving are available via the steering wheel buttons (volume, station, etc.).
  9. It's my #1 pet peeve - using the wrong word. "break" instead of "brake" - it's not a typo, it's the WRONG word. My new favorite pet peeve is "would of" instead of "would've" or "would have".
  10. I don't have a comment - I just wanted to congratulate you for the proper use of "break" and "brake" in the same post.
  11. It usually asks you to make a legal Uturn for a short while, then it should calculate a new route. How long did you wait?
  12. My guess is loose wiring to the PCM and/or a bad ground connection. Check voltage from the battery positive to a chassis ground point.
  13. I'm not a CR fan but that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. They may be biased and ignorant about cars but they're not on the take.
  14. If it's just in the clearcoat it can be repaired. Otherwise you'll have to fill it first with touch up paint. Paintscratch.com has good kits.
  15. Not that I recall. That's why they have dealers with diagnostic equipment and TSBs.
  16. No, but it does potentially change whether you get stranded or not.
  17. I'll try to be nice about this. Go get your owner's manual and read it. Now. There is a slot (I think it's in the console) where you put the IA fob that's right next to the receiver in case the signal from the fob is too weak to be read.
  18. Sounds like the electronic throttle control.
  19. Sounds like a bad battery or a wiring harness problem where the PCM loses contact with everything (or a bad PCM). I'd start with the battery since that's the easiest one. Another possibility is a bad ground to the vehicle.
  20. This looks legit to me, but answer the survey at your own risk. I wouldn't give out any sensitive information.
  21. BTW - there is a classic symptom in the first gen Ford Fusions that always points to a bad battery: the airbag light comes on intermittently. Usually first thing in the morning.
