Typical tactic. Some dealers do the same thing with window etching, undercoating, etc. They try to bully you into buying it because it's already installed.
Don't buy rotors for performance - you won't get any noticeable benefit unless you're racing. Get regular rotors or slotted if you prefer the looks but it's strictly for looks. Pads can help a little but honestly it's more about less brake dust than absolute performance.
To get real braking upgrades you need bigger rotors AND calipers.
I don't like turning rotors - it makes them more susceptible to warping. And you have to get a shop to turn the rotors whereas you can replace them yourself.
For some stupid reason I thought the OP was talking about interference with the stereo system.
It is resonance and it happens with almost every new car today because they're made much more airtight than ever before. It's like blowing on the end of a bottle - there isn't any where for the air to escape. All you have to do is crack another window and it should go away.
As long as it's a 5W20 oil that meets the Ford spec you can use whatever you want. I don't think the Amsoil 5W20 matches the spec but you'd have to check to be sure.
Call Microsoft support and ask them technical details about some piece of software that was on their download website and see what kind of answer you get. It's just not something the folks taking calls know (or should know IMO).
Although what they should be able to tell you is what to do if you downloaded the old version before it was pulled and it sounds like they did - go see the dealer to force a reflash to make sure you've got the latest version.
It can be done if you use good quality spray paint with base coat and clear coat and wetsand it. I painted the aftermarket keyless entry surround to match my daughter's Ingot Silver Focus and it turned out great using spray paint from paintscratch.com. Of course then she totalled it and the new one is dark grey so I had to remove all of the paint and make the plastic shiny again so it matched the new color.
I think you may have to do more to the chrome than just scuff it to get the paint to bond properly but the paint itself shouldn't be a problem.
