  1. It's been awhile since I used it so maybe it does stink a little until it dries but I don't think it's as bad as the latex caulk.
  2. Silicone is clear and has no odor and would be easier to remove than adhesive caulk.
  3. Clear silicone caulk would work exactly the same way as mtbalser suggested.
  4. I wasn't suggesting to use the Pilot Sport A/S on the Edge, just an example of a good Michelin experience.
  5. I took a really deep breath and decided to let it slide. I'm getting soft in my old age.
  6. Hard to go wrong with Michelins. They're expensive but in most cases they are worth it. I've personally owned the Pilot Sport A/S and they're great.
  7. That's not the same as pulling the fuse. The reboot doesn't reset all of the components, although it doesn't hurt to try it first.
  8. Everyone should take a minute to do a search before asking a question that may have already been answered. It's just common courtesy and it can get you an answer immediately instead of waiting for someone to answer it for you. That said I don't remember this specific error combination but yes, pulling the fuse would be the first thing to try.
  9. I don't understand how the 2.0L EB could be lacking when it has significantly more torque at lower rpm. Not blasting, just trying to understand. Was it just the sound/feel of the engine?
  10. That is total BS - they don't stop building one vehicle to build another - they build them all at the same time. One of two things are happening with your order. First there could be some type of hold on certain parts or components that is preventing your vehicle from being built. The second - and far more likely - is that your dealer does not have sufficient allocation to get your vehicle built. Dealers only get a certain number of vehicles per year and if there are more orders than allocation the ones with the lowest priority get built first. You should be able to call Ford and get status if your dealer won't be honest with you. Get a copy of the DORA from the dealer and see if you have a VIN assigned yet then call Ford.
  11. It only seems to be affecting Focus and Escape, not Edge or Explorer. At least that was the last report I saw.
  12. Dude - PLEASE stop clicking on Report! That link is for reporting forum or member issues to the moderator.
  13. Most of the power goes to the fronts unless slip is detected or anticipated.
  14. Only if you request synthetic oil. The factory fill is a synthetic blend.
  15. Apparently Michelin agrees - you cross the tires going TO the drive wheels but not the ones coming FROM the drive wheels. Makes sense now that I think about it.
  16. Makes no difference as long as you do it the same way each time. The point is just to swap the tires around to all 4 wheels evenly.
  17. We've been through this debate before. If there was scientific proof that a K&N filter improved fuel economy then it would be on K&N's webpage with test results and the mfrs would be putting them in all their vehicles.
  18. Wouldn't a small LED flashlight in the glove box do the same thing and be used anywhere on the vehicle?
  19. You can also use the keypad to lock the door and it will disable the fob in the vehicle until you unlock it with the keypad again.
  20. You can rotate it all you want - just don't take it out of the trunk.
  21. That all changes when menopause hits and the hot flashes start. Years ago I had sinus problems and my doctor told me to turn down the A/C at night. I said "can you write me a prescription?". So he did. It wasn't filled.
