You need to take it to the dealership and they can turn them on with their computer.

You do not need the sensors, but without them the light will stay on.

If you have problems with the chrome wheels and ford does cover it under warrenty you can only get the same wheels as a replacement. Ford will not pay a warrenty claim if you replace them with a different part number than what came on the car.

It takes less than 5 minutes to reset them. You do need a special tool to do it though.

The new sensors need to be "trained" so the vehicle will read them. The dealer or most tire shops should be able to do it.

I don't know if this helps, but the Head Unit does not run sync, there is a seperate module that runs the Sync system and then communicates with the Head Unit.

Just so you know all 2007 and 2008 Edge's have the Tire Pressure Monitering system.

Please do not diconnect the battery, If you do all trouble codes that may have been set will be lost and make it much harder for the techs to diag. It may be a very simple problem and even if not the dealer will fix it. I don't know why people are talking about lemons with just one problem, things do have even to japenese cars. Now if they can't fix it thats a whole different story. I know your disapointed becuase it shouldn't happen to a new car, but i'm sure it will be taken care of.

Every one here seems to have a different opion on oil and change interval. I know ford says 7500 miles. but i change mine every 3000 and use motorcraft oil and oil filter(I work at a ford dealership, so i have easy access to the ford product). My personal opion though is that as long as you us oil that meets fords standards and change it at regular intervals you should be fine.

The sirius subscription is for the Ford factory radio that came with your Edge. The Kenwood needs to have a reciever added that is compatable with the kenwood, so basically your subscription is no good. Sorry.

I don't have any idea. I have an 07 so i don't have sync. I"m just going by the colors in the wiring diagram. Sorry. I do know that the wires are shielded also. other than that i don't know any other info.

I don't know where you got your info from but if you are talking about an Edge they do not use torsion bars, they use struts. the only way to lift it is with a lift kit. If your talking about a different type of vehicle then that would be up to you.

We have noticed the low tire lights coming on at work with tires at 30psi when factory recommends 35psi. Those lights don't seem to help much though because people still don't check there tire pressures. They bring them in for a warrenty repair becuase something is wrong becuase there light is on, it drives us nuts. Also nitrogen may loose air slower but they still go down. Alot of people thing they don't have to check there tires because they have nitrogen. Sorry for the rant, it just is such a pain in the butt. If people checked there tire pressures like they are supposed to we wouldn't need those stupid lights.

The escape is a unibody, not body on frame but it is much smaller.

The antenna can and should be removed before washing. Most car washes take it off before they wash the car.

The problem you are having may be from rust building up on the rotor while it has been sitting. It may not be the cold weather, if there is alot of moisture in the air that could do it. If it still bothers you and you want to be sure make an appointment to take your car in and have the shop foreman cold start it after sitting out overnight and see if they can duplicate it then.

I don't know abou the GPS but i know that the sirius radio used 5V and if you tap straight into the power point or other 12V source you will fry the radio. The lighter adapter that comes with the radio has a reducer in it to go from the 12V to 5V. I did it on my old car but took the end of the lighter adapter apart and soldered some wires to it to wire to a 12V source. I don't know if the GPS is the same but i hope that helps some.

The covers are not offered without the wheels, no there isn't a seperate part number for the covers and yes if you scrape the chrome you either live with it or replace the wheel.

Just a warning for anyone thinking about pulling those covers off, you CANNOT just replace the cover you have to replace the whole wheel. I do not know what they look like underneith the covers but those covers are glued on and i'm sure it wouldn't be pretty.

I would just let them know that it is pulling and have them check the alignment. Many things can cause a pull, low tire pressure, tires, crown in the road or alignment being off. You can mention that there is a TSB for a pull but they would still have to check to see if it applies to your vehicle. There are some threads on this board that cover the pull issues if you want to read them. Hope this helps some.

Replacing the seal will not fix a pull to the right while driving. There is a TSB for a pull but you need to tell the service department about the problem or they will do nothing about it. Hope you are enjoying your Edge otherwise I know I love mine.

You are probably talking about the RF PTU axle seal if AWD or the Transaxle seal if FWD. there are no wheel seals on the Edgel. There have been many people complaining of the same problem on this board.

I beileve that 7500 is the base plan and 5000 is the sevire duty plan. you can get the oil change done when ever you want, we do them at work all the time. You just need to know that you only get as many oil changes as what ever your plan expiration miles is divided by 7500 and thats it so if you go threw all of them before 30000 but the plan expires at 60000 you would have used them all so i wouldn't recommend doing that. hope you understood that, it came out kind of confusing.
