shocks are covered, but are you sure that the marks on your tires are due to the shocks and not lack of rotation or out of balance or alignment? none of those issues would be covered.

just curious how you changed a fuel filter since there is not external fuel filter on these vehicles?

sounds like your dealer doesn't know what they are doing. there are different radios and they also have to be reprogrammed when installed. unfortunatly you will have to take it back to them to have them try and fix it again.

I agree with bbf, I justed wanted to add that if you do have it fixed there, make sure you get in very detailed writing what was wrong and what they did to fix it, also keep the old part so you have something to show when you try to get a refund. Hope this helps some. One more thing, if it going to cost you some much to have it looked at, can you have it towed to the US instead?

I have an 07 and bought and installed a factory nav system and yes it should take them less than an hour. Maybe they don't know what they are doing. The have to reprogram the new one which is a little tricky but they should be able to figure it out no problem.

The clicking noise is the park safety solenoid, its what keeps you from shifting out of park without pushing the brake pedal.

unfortunatly the dealer is right, if they can not duplicate the concern you can't fix it. If no codes were stored there isn't much they can do, other than keep driving it and hope to reproduce the concern. I know thats not what you wanted to here but that is the reality of the situation.

You can have your DRL's turned on at a dealership and then you won't have to worry about the display dimming.

Your spare tires will not affect the tpms unless you are trying to reprogram the ones on your car next to the spare ones, that could cause problems because it could read the spares.

Changing your exhaust from the cat back should not affect your smog tests.

The spoilers on the se edges are just black plastic, the black ones on the MKX are painted black. I think its just a design thing on the MKX.

PCM= powertrain control module and if it needs to be replaced twice it is probably not your problem. it sounds like something else is causing the problems.

Your local dealership would be the best place.

the sun glasses work great. the glare completely dissapears when i have mine on. but they have to be a good pair of polarized sunglasses.

are you sure its just road noise and not a bad bearing. A bad bearing can make a similar sound.

I looked at the wiring diagram for the fog lights and don't see any other modules needed, just a relay in the smart junction box(assuming all the other wiring is in the box for the fog lamps already, otherwise you'll need a new smart junction box).

This probably isn't what you want to hear but my advise is dont even try it, or pay a shop to do it so when it breaks the windshield they are responsible. I took mine off to replace it with a different rear view mirror and ended up breaking the windshield and i seem to remember others posting the same thing. They are on extremly tight and need to be pried off and if not careful the part that is glued to the windshield can come off with part of the windshield.

We have had ours for 6 months and have 8000 miles on it and also have had no problems and love the car.

When you take it in request to go for a ride with a foreman or manager and point out the noise that you are hearing so they know what you are talking about.

I'm with lex on the sirius, have it in both cars. Its worth it.

The antenna can be unscrewed and removed from the base when you have the boards up there.
