What I like about it is that it is removable. I carry my tablet with me daily and it provides functionality the ford system obviously cannot. Being able to navigate my music directly through my tablet or skip through tracks with the steering wheel controls is awesome, as well as turn by turn navigation when I didn't buy the navigation functionality. Sync directions work well but a full map would be better for sure. Having a mount to allow me see it at a glance while driving would be great. Or I can just leave out and use the factory system when needed.

WHoa!.. i want one for my playbook! Would be awsome if it had a USB dock too to keep it charged on a long road trip.

I would be interested in also buying just 1 wheel. My father or sister curbed one of mine while i was in the hospital with a collapsed lung the other day.

Well, the options you want eliminate 2011 models as there was no ecoboost engine available until 2012. One thing to consider when buying new vs used is that you will be the first owner with new. 1 owner cars look better on paper when trying to resell than 2 owner. Also here in the states many insurance companys will offer full mechanical breakdown protection for current model year cars as long as you are the original owner. They are often better priced than a dealer extended warrenty and can be cancelled whenever you want as you pay along with your insurance premium. Through geico the extended protection is 7 years and i pay $48 every 6 months extra.

I went with 35% .. my last car was 20% and driving at night was a bit impared at times. Also I dont need any more reason to get pulled over.

I just had mine done as wll and noticed the same thing. Only certain times it will seem to have a haze to it. It hasnt bothered me at all but it did seem odd the first time i noticed it. Its been about 8 days since i got them done and i havent noticed the hazy effect in the last few days. BTW are you central CT area? Im actually just north of hatrford and got them done at Mr. Tints with just some cheapo Johnsons film. I had my last car done with it and was actually very happy with the results and it was a good price. 5 years sitting outside and minimal fade.

I use mine frequently for directions and it seldom drops the call during the download. When it does do it though it will happen several times in a row before it completes successfully. Its likely a problem on sync network's end but it doesnt seem to occur enough to really be a problem.

Ditto.. It may just be that they are hyper sensitive. Without goves you dont even need to actually touch them. Also dont let a plugged in USB cable get near them.. no matter how well shielded it is it will make the buttons go crazy.

I have still never had any real issues either. 6 months in and the only problem i saw so far was the "update" screen when i started my car 2 times. lasted about 30 seconds and booted up fine. I dont have Nav so no issues to report on that end of course. Phone pairs fine and voice commands work well.

Winter blend gas will likely rob a few MPG but Im sure less agressive driving will help still once the roads are slippery. I would definetly buy another edge. I didnt ride my harley all summer because i love driving my edge so much.

My sport AWD is averaging around 18mpg 90% city (3.8 mile commute to work) and 10% highway. Long trips on the highway i get around 24-25mpg. Whats funny is my 2007 dodge caliber RT AWD i traded in was rated very close to the same milage im getting with almost 1/2 the power and 1000lbs less weight.

Totally normal. It does not have locking diffs and the AWD system is not symmetrical so you wont have instant power to all 4 wheels at launch (probably would still pull anyway without at least brake lock diffs)

I love my pirellis as well. They havent been through a winter yet but i dont expect much from them at all and hope to get some dedicated winter wheels and tires. In wet and dry so far the stock tires have been awsome even with my agressive driving. They are also nice and quiet and much smoother than i would expect a 40 series tire on 22" wheels to ever be.

I have tryed both. DSP (Surround) with a tiny bit of rear bias sounds not too bad vs sterio. Again it all means nothing without reference to base a comparison from.

I cant say the factory sony system sounds bad.. but comming from my $20,000 dodge caliber R/T with BA "music gate" system, I definetly noticed the sony system is inferior. Im no audiophile but it seems like its missing something. Almost like listening to music from inside a tin can. Without reference though i have gotten used to it and I cant justify spending the cash to upgrade it.

I have always had the same issue. A little annoying but no big deal. Odd thing though is it absolutely refuses to transfer my girlfiriend's and my uncles contact info. Out of like 130 people just those 2... the most frequently called.

Mine has done it as well. It was soo loud that people on the side of the road jumped and looked at my car. Car drove fine after and it hasnt done it again since. I told the dealer about it during my free oil change and they told me to set up an appointment (it was a saturday and no master techs were in).

Door lock button on the focus and fiesta is on the center stack. That may have been what you saw. The hazard button is no big deal to me compared to having the center door lock button like that.

+1 on the ramps. I never jack up my cars unless i need to take off a wheel or take weight off suspension.

Mine works fine too. 1 black screen on 2.4 but dealer upgraded me to 2.8 and no problems at all so far. Sync works, bluetooth works, voice commands work. I dont have Nav and im thinking that those without are more fond of the system.

I have a 2011 edge sport AWD without NAV. I thought i was going to really regret not getting it but actually im still totally happy i didnt. Sync directions work awsome. I added a factory navigation system to my last car and after a year or so the maps became nearly useless. I found updated map dvds on ebay but i just couldnt justify the cost.
