Would you know if the new APIM module is the same as the one taken out or did Ford update it?

A simple trip to the dealer should remedy this. A tech will be able to tell you if you need to add anything and how much

Hello After the latest update I can no longer connect to WiFi. The screen doesn't pick up my home wireless although my iPhone does. The unlocked connections it does show will not connect to. Any ideas?? Thanks

Just to add here. Everything except the ambient lighting minor glitch has been working fine. I did try yesterday to check "Movie times" and it is now frozen with an hour glass. All other categories such as Sports are working fine. Any idea how to clear the movie entry so it can start over?? Just to update I was able to get the movie times/locations to work again. This seems to be an intermittent problem

I had the Lincoln logo as well. Once I installed the latest update via USB it went away plus the remote engine start was corrected to the way it should be

Yes those are instructions for the interior Ambient lighting NOT the LED lights that replace the fog lights

With the latest update I notice the Ambient lighting issue is still there. I do believe however the factory remote is working like it should now (3 clicks) I also see a Master Reset button has that always been there?? In addition adding favorites to the Nav is doable now :yup:

I will give it a try tomorrow. I think this update does provide additional menus and I believe I was checking the system versions on a drop down menu this afternoon. I find you can now add to your favorite destinations on your nav with a simple drop down menu. I'll try to send the software update file if possible

Just updated my Sync. Tried text to speech with my iPhone 4 but couldn't get it or the text "alert tone" feature to work. Will try again after I restart the car. It gives you a choice of 3 alerts when a text comes inThis was a fairly large update which said may take 20 minutes to complete. The sync turned off for what seemed quite a while before rebooting and then turned off once more. Can someone tell me just what was updated??
